My wife just turned 50, so she recently experienced that least favorite American rite of passage: the arrival of the dreaded solicitation letter from AARP.

I’m pleased to say that she took advantage of this opportunity to do precisely as I have done for the past eight years: she immediately and with malice aforethought dropped the solicitation in the trash.

Not that she was offended by the reminder of her advanced age; rather, because she holds AARP in contempt.

So do I.

Two quick questions, dear reader: 1) Do you belong to AARP? 2) Which AARP do you belong to?

If you’re confused by the second question your confusion is, in AARP’s eyes, a marketing triumph.

You are likely thinking, “Which AARP? Why, I belong to the American Association of Retired Persons. I belong to that AARP.”

Surprise. There is no such thing as the American Association of Retired Persons. The non-profit organization that was founded in 1956 to help older folks was renamed some years ago. It’s now called AARP and it exists as three separate organizations. (Actually four, but for our purposes let’s ignore the international branch. This is confusing enough.)

Left Wing Protestors, AKA Rent a Mob…

The douche bag Democrats can’t the real folks to protest when they want a protest, so they manufacture said protest by hiring morons to hold a sign. Astroturf at its finest, ala Nancy (Nazi) Pelosi. She claimed the Tea Party did this, which was a lie. Apparently, it is something they do all the time, so surely the Tea Party did the same. NOT.

Democrats and the left are inherently a sham with little actual grassroots support and the race for Florida’s 18th Congressional District is yet another example of this truism.

Repeatedly and across the country we see unions, Democrats, and other far left groups planning rallies and protest marches but finding that they simply can’t put bodies in the streets to make all the effort worthwhile. They just don’t really have the support of the common man, the folks in the streets, to carry off these protest marches and rallies.

But these out of the mainstream groups do have a solution to this problem: the rent-a-protester. Whenever you see a left-wing protest, almost invariably you’ll find that many of the folks walking around with signs in their hands were hired to be there. They are paid protesters, faux activists only there for some change in their pockets, not because they care anything about the issue being protested.

Such is the case in the 18th CD race where Florida Congressman Allen West is running to represent the newly redistricted area. The Democrats that are trying to raise hate against West there wanted to stage a protest but, like most of these left-wing groups, just didn’t have the bodies for it. So, off to rent-a-protester they went.

Try looking towards our white, liberal elite and you’ll not only see their political influence but also the mediocrity they’ve molded into our society.

It really dawned on me after watching an episode of Penn & Teller’s “Bullshit” program on Environmental Hysteria, where there was a scene including rhythm-challenged, young white elites, “dancing” like Africans after eating a meal of gazelle meat gone bad.

Look at pop culture, complete with singers who can’t sing, writers who can’t come up with original ideas, reality show participants with few redeeming qualities, and behind the scenes you’ll see white liberal elites who claim to embrace diversity, and you’ll understand why we have a Barack Obama.

Apparently, Caroline “Schlossberg” Kennedy has name recognition, worked for a couple hours a week for a non-profit and has absolutely no public office experience. She is being considered as the replacement for HRC in the Senate. The media and the left are swooning.

Sarah Pain on the other hand, oops, different letter following the name has City Council experience, was a Mayor, and is the Governor of the largest state in the union. And she apparently, at least according to the afore mentioned lunatics has no experience to be the Vice-President of these her United States.

Funny shit that.
She has more experience than Kennedy, Biden, and the Obamasiah combined.
