Global warming fraud. That’s what it is. It’s gone beyond scam. It’s charlatan.
Piss off ecotards.

Here’s the money quote (emphasis mine):

This comes from Melanie Fitzpatrick, a climate scientist with the Union of Concerned Scientists

The climate models, Fitzpatrick said, will likely be correct over long periods of time. But there are too many variations in climate to expect models to be accurate over two decades.

Climate models wildly overestimated global warming, study finds

Measuring Global Warming

Can you rely on the weather forecast? Maybe not, at least when it comes to global warming predictions over short time periods.

That’s the upshot of a new study in the journal Nature Climate Change that compared 117 climate predictions made in the 1990’s to the actual amount of warming. Out of 117 predictions, the study’s author told FoxNews.com, three were roughly accurate and 114 overestimated the amount of warming. On average, the predictions forecasted two times more global warming than actually occurred.

Some scientists say the study shows that climate modelers need to go back to the drawing board.”It’s a real problem … it shows that there really is something that needs to be fixed in the climate models,” climate scientist John Christy, a professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, told FoxNews.com.

…is easy to find, but this one takes the dumb shit prize.

What a fucking moron.

Only a moron can make the connection that a tornado was caused by global warming.

They did the same shit when it was global cooling that was going to destroy the world.

Flashback 1975: Outbreaks Blamed On Global COOLING…

Democratic Senator uses Okla. tornado for anti-GOP rant over global warming

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming.

Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters.

Watts Up With That?

The press release below is from Wiley, where they worry that the polar bear can’t find enough sea ice. Meanwhile, billboards proclaim the uptick in polar bear numbers thanks to conservation efforts and other factors. See below for 10 reasons to consider why we shouldn’t worry. – Anthony

For polar bears, it’s survival of the fattest

One of the most southerly populations of polar bears in the world – and the best studied – is struggling to cope with climate-induced changes to sea ice, new research reveals. Based on over 10 years’ data the study, published in the British Ecological Society’s Journal of Animal Ecology, sheds new light on how sea ice conditions drive polar bears’ annual migration on and off the ice.

Another solar company that received a loan guarantee from the Obama Administration and went bankrupt is now the focus of a criminal investigation.
Chicago politics much?

If these companies were oil and gas, or coal companies, you’d never hear the end of it with the MSM. But since it makes Odouchnozzle look bad, their pretty much silent.

Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.

Solyndra, the sequel? Bankrupt solar firm, DOE facing scrutiny over panel problems

House Republicans are pressing the Obama administration for more information about a solar-panel company that received a $400 million loan guarantee, then went bankrupt and is now the focus of a criminal investigation.

The committee pursuing documents on Colorado-based Abound Solar is the same that investigated the half-billion taxpayer loan to Solyndra, whose bankruptcy rocked the Obama administration. Two more Department of Energy-backed companies have since filed for bankruptcy, with Abound Solar being the latest.

Lawmakers are now questioning whether the administration might have known about serious problems with the company’s solar panels before it was guaranteed the loan in December 2010 under the stimulus program.

“Abound is the third company that has received a DOE loan to go bankrupt,” the House Committee on Energy and Commerce told Energy Secretary Steven Chu in a letter Wednesday. “The committee seeks to better understand what DOE knew about problems with Abound’s solar panels prior to finalizing its $400 million loan guarantee.”

…in North Las Vegas. Why is the government giving money to the green energy sector, when it is obviously a failing policy?

I ask myself that a lot about many of the things that government wastes our tax dollars on. But as long as the Senate is controlled by Democrats, shit like this is going to keep happening. Don’t get me wrong, there are RINOs that need to be purged as well.

This is yet another reason to go vote and fire every last one of these bastards and that includes the SCOAMF.

Amonix closes North Las Vegas solar plant after 14 months, heavy federal subsidies

By Hubble Smith
LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL

The Amonix solar manufacturing plant in North Las Vegas, subsidized by more than $20 million in federal tax credits and grants, has closed its 214,000-square-foot facility about a year after it opened.

Officials at Amonix headquarters in Seal Beach, Calif., have not responded to repeated calls for comment this week, but the company began selling equipment, from automated tooling systems to robotic welding cells, in an online auction Wednesday.

A designer and manufacturer of concentrated photovoltaic solar power systems, Amonix received $6 million in federal tax credits for the North Las Vegas plant and a $15.6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy in 2007 for research and development.

Rene Kenerly, a former material and supply manager at Amonix, said the plant has been idle since May 1, when he was laid off. At its peak, the plant had about 700 employees working three shifts a day to produce solar panels for a utility in Amarosa, Colo., he said.

…is really what has been happening to the world, for the last 2000 years. Not global warming.

Funny how science always finds a way to contradict the global warming nutters out there, yet they cling to their religion anyway.  Funny shit that

Too bad the funny doesn’t last long since these nutters have cost America billions of dollars in loans to green companies that have proven to be an absolute waste of tax payer monies, as well as their charade of climate change initiatives that have no affect on the climate what so ever.  The only thing certain about the climate change morons and their agenda is that it will cost us more billions in taxes and other indirect costs before we are rid of their stupidity.

Tree-rings prove climate was WARMER in Roman and Medieval times than it is now – and world has been cooling for 2,000 years

Tree ring study gives first accurate climate reading back to 138BC
World has been slowly cooling for 2,000 years
World was warmer in Roman and Medieval times than it is now
Study of semi-fossilised trees in Finland

By Rob Waugh

Rings in fossilised pine trees have proven that the world was much warmer than previously thought – and the earth has been slowly COOLING for 2,000 years.

Measurements stretching back to 138BC prove that the Earth is slowly cooling due to changes in the distance between the Earth and the sun.

The finding may force scientists to rethink current theories of the impact of global warming.

It is the first time that researchers have been able to accurately measure trends in global temperature over the last two millennia.

Over that time, the world has been getting cooler – and previous estimates, used as the basis for current climate science, are wrong.

Their findings demonstrate that this trend involves a cooling of -0.3°C per millennium due to gradual changes to the position of the sun and an increase in the distance between the Earth and the sun.

How’s that “hope and change” working out for you?

Not so well eh? Yeah, I thought so too.

It’s time to stop the government’s subsidizing of green energy. If that shit was viable, private enterprise would have been all over it a long time ago.

This is just another avenue for government to control you. Don’t believe their hype.

$9 Billion in ‘Stimulus’ for Solar, Wind Projects Made 910 Final Jobs — $9.8 Million Per Job

By Michael W. Chapman and Fred Lucas

(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration distributed $9 billion in economic “stimulus” funds to solar and wind projects in 2009-11 that created, as the end result, 910 “direct” jobs — annual operation and maintenance positions — meaning that it cost about $9.8 million to establish each of those long-term jobs.

At the same time, those green energy projects also created, in the end, about 4,600 “indirect” jobs – positions indirectly supported by the annual operation and maintenance jobs — which means they cost about $1.9 million each ($9 billion divided by 4,600).

Combined (910 + 4,600 = 5,510), the direct and indirect jobs cost, on average, about $1.63 million each to produce.

Not so well.
Green energy is a load of bullshit.
Well, I guess that really isn’t green energy is it?

The loons on the left that think green energy is the way to go fail to realize that wind and solar power doesn’t create the energy needed to support modern life. In other words, your fucking IPad isn’t going to run on wind power. Neither are the farms of servers that you are trying to gain access through to your favorite porn site.
You need energy that is reliable, cheap, and can be used at the flip of a switch. Wind and solar need acres of area to produce anything viable, and even that is a fraction of what the consumers would need.

Green Welfare, Green Taxes, Green Poverty

By Peter Ferrara

The road to hell is paved with Obama’s Green intentions.

What would you do if gangs of robbers roamed your neighborhood at night, breaking into your neighbors’ houses and stealing their family jewels and life savings? You would arm yourself, and your family members of sufficient age, to defend your property. Or you would move to a safer neighborhood.

But if the robbers formed gangs called Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, or the Natural Resources Defense Fund, and assaulted your standard of living, the Che Guevara Democrats expect you to greet them with open arms, and gleefully turn over bushels of your cash, until your life savings is gone, and your standard of living has been reduced to the level of Argentina.

That third world destination is where Obama’s “green energy” economic strategy is taking America, all while he tells us sweet fairy tales about how this path is the road to 21st century prosperity.

Stimulus-Backed ‘Green’ Bankruptcy of the Week: Ener1

By Doug Powers

When the story of the Department of Energy’s green loan program is written someday, the entire book will be contained in chapter 11:

After months of financial turmoil, an Energy Department-backed lithium ion battery company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The company, Ener1, received a $118 million grant from DOE in 2010 as part of the president’s stimulus package. The money, which went to Ener1 subsidiary EnerDel, aimed to promote renewable energy storage battery technology for electrical grid use.

But despite generous federal support for the company, Ener1 was racked by problems last year. In October, NASDAQ delisted the company due to non-compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission filing requirements. A month later, the company’s president, chief executive, and top financial officer were fired.

On Thursday, Ener1 announced it will initiate a pre-packaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan as part of an agreement to restructure the company’s debt obligations.

The problem? Something the government often fails to take into account when spending tons of other people’s money because they think it can be artificially created later on: Product demand
