Former Marine Arrested…

…because he criticized the government. Isn’t this the shit that communists do? Why yes, yes it is.

Well, the police say he wasn’t arrested. If he wasn’t arrested, then why was he lead away in handcuffs and then taken to a psychiatric facility? If that isn’t being arrested, then WTF is it?

The government has too much power if this is allowed in this country.

Time to get the torches and pitchforks.

Outcry after military veteran detained for anti-government Facebook posts

A former Marine involuntarily detained for psychiatric evaluation for posting strident anti-government messages on Facebook has received an outpouring of support from people who say authorities are trampling on his First Amendment rights.

Brandon J. Raub, 26, has been in custody since FBI, Secret Service agents and police in Virginia’s Chesterfield County questioned him Thursday evening about what they said were ominous posts talking about a coming revolution. In one message earlier this month according to authorities, Raub wrote: “Sharpen my axe; I’m here to sever heads.”

Police — acting under a state law that allows emergency, temporary psychiatric commitments upon the recommendation of a mental health professional — took Raub to the John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell. He was not charged with any crime.

This is an interesting article from American Thnker.

I think the two lefts will do whatever they can to destroy America as we know it, but for different reasons.

Either way, liberalism is a mental disorder.

The Two Lefts

It is impossible to understand politics in the world today without grasping the fundamental fact that there exist two different lefts. I propose that the two be referred to by everyone as the Stupid Left and the Satanic Left. The two are very different, although they work together. People who are part of the first are simply stupid people. People who are part of the second may in fact be quite shrewd, but are evil and nefarious. There is no third type of leftist.

Over time, the Stupid Left has been losing its numbers, as many Stupid Leftists either become smarter or morph into Satanic Leftists, and so desist from being mere Stupid Leftists. So a process of selection is occurring whereby the strength of the Satanic Left within the overall left grows. The “Occupy Wall Street” demonstrations and their kin in Europe are attended by and contain both kinds of leftists, although they are increasingly organized by Satanic Leftists. Almost all the BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanctions vis-à-vis Israel) guttersnipes are Satanic Leftists.

Both the Stupid Left and the Satanic Left demonstrate together against the United States, in favor of Iran and Islamofascism, in favor of destroying Israel, and in favor of Palestinian terrorism. But for different reasons. The Stupid Left really thinks that if the U.S. leaves Iran alone, it will refrain from developing weapons of mass destruction. The Satanic Left supports Iran precisely because it knows that Iran will develop them and use them!

The Stupid Left is anti-American because it thinks people in America are oppressed, poor, and mistreated, and that America is an evil country. The Satanic Left is anti-American precisely because it knows that the opposite is the case.

California by the numbers

The weekend produced a spate of dang-this-is-bad articles on the economic situation in California. Steven Greenhut’s for the Orange County Register is entitled “California to middle class: drop dead.” At The Daily Beast, Joel Kotkin laments that “As California Collapses, Obama Follows its Lead.” (H/t – and a “Read it, people!” shout-out – to Ed Driscoll at PJM.)

But what does all this look like in terms of numbers? What’s the how much and where and whom of the Golden State collapse? Perhaps the most interesting and telling thing is that it really is as bad as it looks. And the reasons are pretty much what you’d expect. Here’s the California story, in numbers.

According to a March 2012 report, 855,000 is how many private-sector jobs California has lost since the recession started four years ago. (H/t: California Political News & Views.) The state today enjoys an unemployment rate of 11%, compared with the official national average of 8.3%

Texas, by contrast, has added 139,800 jobs, posting the biggest absolute gain among the 50 states. (California’s is the biggest absolute loss.) Texas’ unemployment rate is 7.1%. Number 3 on the job-growth list? The District of Columbia, with 21,000 added private-sector jobs. Government is big business.

New Obama slogan has long ties to Marxism, socialism

The Obama campaign apparently didn’t look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, “Forward” — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.

Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name “Forward!” or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called “Forward (generic name of socialist publications).”

“The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications,” the online encyclopedia explains.

The slogan “Forward!” reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

The Obama campaign released its new campaign slogan Monday in a 7-minute video. The title card has simply the word “Forward” with the “O” having the familiar Obama logo from 2008. It will be played at rallies this weekend that mark the Obama re-election campaign’s official beginning.

Earth Day… Pagan Worship Of The Earth and Marxism

Lenin’s World-Wide Celebration Of Socialism!

The annual, global, orgasmic, daisy chain of paganism is complete for another year. I refer, of course to — Earth Day.

Quite likely the oldest religion of all, Paganism has been on display throughout this week just ending — even in the religious communities supposedly dedicated to the worship of the “one true God.” Earth Day, itself, is rooted deeply in godless socialism. Vladimir Lenin is the Father/Founder of Earth Day! Why, then, will millions of Christians celebrate it in their churches this Sunday?

Celebration of Earth Week and Earth Day ought to be banned in our public school system, too, because it is so obviously an expression of the religion of Paganism.

This entire ridiculous worship of a pagan god (or gods) is reminiscent of the days before civilization took root and the human animal began it’s assent from the caves and/or descent from the trees.

Over the past few centuries, and especially in the mid 20th century, those elements of socialistic societies, which remained, came to realize their days were numbered unless they could contrive a different way of bringing humanity under their spell — their control — if you will. They fell back on that thing which has ALWAYS worked, at least temporarily, in the past… and that is… ignorance and fear… ignorance of the truth and fear of an imagined threat.
