This is sad for those wounded warriors that have been helped by this organization. Apparently, they are now politically correct when it comes to their donations. I recommend that you stop giving to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).

Instead, please donate to the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). They are a worthy cause, and I am certain that they won’t turn away a donation based on your religious beliefs.

They need those funds a lot more than WWP does apparently.

Veteran Organization Refuses Christian School’s Donation

After ponying up a $100 fee for the ability to raise money for the nationwide Wounded Warrior Project, staff members of Liberty Baptist Church and Academy in Florida were stunned to receive an email declining their effort.

Claiming the group could not accept donations from the fundraiser described as “religious in nature,” the WWP passed up funding needed to provide outreach services as well as the chance for students in the school to feel the joy of helping out the organization.

The church’s pastor said everyone involved was “heartbroken,” noting fundraising organizers “had to tell our children and parents we can’t give to the Wounded Warrior Project.”

Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone has a great Christmas.
My brother called me from Afghanistan this morning. Nice to hear from him on this day.

Thanks for dropping by.

Prayer for Christmas Morning

The day of joy returns, Father in Heaven, and crowns another year with peace and good will. Help us rightly to remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wisemen.
Close the doors of hate and open the doors of love all over the world…
Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil, by the blessing that Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clean
hearts. May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children, And the Christmas evening bring us to our bed with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake.
Amen

…as usual.

What can I say, that I haven’t already? Well, I guess there’s a lot. The MSM sucks ass. I probably already said that, but just in case.

Here are a few words of wisdom for your consumption.

Something Is Wrong
By Ben Stein

Don’t look now, but Islam is becoming the MSM’s official religion of America.

Don’t look now, but Islam is becoming the MSM’s official religion of America.

Now, it’s not just that no one bats an eye at the amazing truth that the United States is beaming TV ads all over Pakistan apologizing for a derogatory Internet trailer for a nonexistent movie demeaning the being that Muslims call “The Prophet Mohammed.” No one in the MSM even slightly hints that doing the kowtow in the same country that sheltered Osama bin Laden to a group that reveled in, delighted in the terrorism against American civilians and still provides the framework for the terrorist Haqqani network, might be humiliating and an insult to the memory of the great Americans who were murdered just last week in Libya.

No, we just take it in stride that our President and our Secretary of State will apologize to the people who hate us and want us dead. That’s not what I am referring to.
I am referring to something worse: Have you noticed that in the past few years, and especially in the past few weeks since the murder of the Ambassador and his guards and colleague in Benghazi (a city that Erwin Rommel loved and whose inhabitants he praised), whenever the New York Times refers to Mohammed, they always call him, without quotation marks, The Prophet Mohammed, as if everyone with any sense understands that OF COURSE Mohammed is The One True Prophet and that it’s just understood that Mohammed is The Prophet.

This will be my last post, probably, for the weekend.

So, I would like to leave you with this…

Happy Easter!

Be blessed in Jesus’ name.

For all you that believe in the Easter bunny, I give you this (stolen from Ace):

That was hilarious and disturbing all at once.

I felt a tingle up my leg…

Now this is different! Hollywood actually has someone with morals in their midst. It’s a friggin’ miracle.

No Sex Please, I’m Neal McDonough…
By Nikki Finke

Neal McDonough is a marvelous actor who elevates every role he plays, whether it’s in Band of Brothers or Desperate Housewives. So when he was suddenly replaced with David James Elliott 3 days into the filming on ABC’s new series Scoundrels earlier this week, there had to be a story behind the story. The move was officially explained as a casting change. But, in fact, McDonough was sacked because of his refusal to do some heated love scenes with babelicious star (and Botox pitchwoman) Virginia Madsen. The reason? He’s a family man and a Catholic, and he’s always made it clear that he won’t do sex scenes. And ABC knew that. Because he also didn’t get into action with Nicolette Sheridan on the network’s Desperate Housewives when he played her psycho husband during Season 5.
