…because he criticized the government. Isn’t this the shit that communists do? Why yes, yes it is.

Well, the police say he wasn’t arrested. If he wasn’t arrested, then why was he lead away in handcuffs and then taken to a psychiatric facility? If that isn’t being arrested, then WTF is it?

The government has too much power if this is allowed in this country.

Time to get the torches and pitchforks.

Outcry after military veteran detained for anti-government Facebook posts

A former Marine involuntarily detained for psychiatric evaluation for posting strident anti-government messages on Facebook has received an outpouring of support from people who say authorities are trampling on his First Amendment rights.

Brandon J. Raub, 26, has been in custody since FBI, Secret Service agents and police in Virginia’s Chesterfield County questioned him Thursday evening about what they said were ominous posts talking about a coming revolution. In one message earlier this month according to authorities, Raub wrote: “Sharpen my axe; I’m here to sever heads.”

Police — acting under a state law that allows emergency, temporary psychiatric commitments upon the recommendation of a mental health professional — took Raub to the John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell. He was not charged with any crime.

…Dakota Meyer has a new book out that goes after the Army brass for their failure during the battle at Ganjgal in Kunar Province, Afghanistan where he fought and was eventually awarded the MOH for his actions.

There is a US Army Captain, Will Swenson that was there and was submitted for a MOH for his actions that day as well, but the Army in their typical handling of paperwork seems to have lost the packet.

I am pissed off that the Army hasn’t done more to correct a horrible injustice and am not surprised that the actions of a couple morons in the TOC out of 10th Mountain’s 1-32 Infantry screwed the pooch on this. An over zealous captain adhering to a moronic ROE is likely the issue with them not getting the artillery support that they so badly needed. I wasn’t there, but 20 years in the Army and some of that in a TOC environment, can sure make for some educated guesses.

The inaction of a couple officers, and I dare say some NCOs that were in all likelihood there in the TOC may well have cost the lives of a some Marines. This in my mind is shameful and an absolute embarrassment for the Army. I thought 10th Mountain was better than that.

At any rate, go read this, it’s important to know what went on at this battle, the good and the bad.

Dakota Meyer blasts Army brass in new book
By Dan Lamothe – Staff writer

WEST MILFORD, N.J. — During one of the Afghan war’s ugliest battles, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer was nearly taken prisoner at gunpoint but fended off his would-be captor by beating him to death with a baseball-sized rock, according to the Marine’s forthcoming book.

That is among several revelations in “Into the Fire: A Firsthand Account of the Most Extraordinary Battle in the Afghan War.” It chronicles the disastrous Sept. 8, 2009, battle in Ganjgal, a mountainside village in Kunar province where U.S. Marines and soldiers, and their Afghan counterparts, were pinned down under fire for hours. The book, due to be released Sept. 25, is co-authored by Meyer and Bing West, a best-selling writer and former Marine infantryman.

Throughout the book, Meyer, a sergeant in the Marine Corps Individual Ready Reserve, takes aim at several targets — especially the Army officers he blames for allowing members of his team to die that day. He describes perceived flaws in the mission’s planning, outlines how officers at a nearby base refused to send help and questions why an Army captain who fought alongside him, Will Swenson, still hasn’t received any valor award despite being recommended for the Medal of Honor nearly three years ago.

…coming to a voting booth near you. Of course the Democrats will say that this just isn’t so, but, we all know that’s bullshit.

Pay attention. The liberals in this country are hell bent on ending America as you know it.

Voter Fraud: Coming to a Booth Near You?
By Marion DS Dreyfus

In ongoing correspondence with former NYC Mayor Edward Koch, a significant Jewish supporter of the Obama administration, Mr. Koch calls my comments on voter fraud “ridiculous” — this in a bid to discredit my contention that the Democrats are engaged in a desperate and ongoing effort to establish a permanent voting majority.  The president’s recent executive order on an unconstitutional, if modified, “DREAM Act” has in mid-August green-lit 1.7 million non-citizens for work permits, drivers’ licenses, and green cards…and it has sped up citizenship processing.  This is a cynical bid for plumping the presumed Dem voter rolls, in a sleazy effort for an airtight Dem stranglehold on the country’s electoral process.

Does anyone doubt that with a driver’s license and work stubs from some hapless employer, these illegals-with-benefits will be mandated to remain non-voters?  Would you like to purchase a tall, gently used London Bridge?

Mr. Mayor, now coming up on his 87th birthday, called assertions of voter fraud “ridiculous.”

“Ridiculous”?  But for the fact they are both true — and ongoing.

…works both ways. In other words, if Obama tries some bullshit like this, it won’t be long for the masses to “fix” that problem. Interesting read none the less.

Will Obama Keep Power ‘by Any Means Necessary’?
By Stella Paul

Let’s go there: if Obama thinks he’s losing, will he allow safe and fair elections on November 6?  And if he does lose, will he peacefully turn over power to Mitt Romney on January 20, 2013?  Or will he cling to power “by any means necessary,” as a highly placed insider alleges?

Now, I’m truly sorry to raise such disgusting, un-American, crazy-sounding questions, but, alas, they’re not crazy, and I’ve got a disquieting amount of evidence.  The Democrats have already accused Romney of murdering a woman with cancer, financial felonies, and not filing taxes for ten years — the last charge delivered by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on the Senate floor, on the basis of absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

By Democrat standards, I’ve got enough proof to put away Obama, et al. for life without parole.
