“a snake can swim underwater a very long time, just like a fish. But eventually, it must come up for air. Why? Because it is not a fish — it is a snake.”

Here’s the story:

Obama Keeps on Conning America

By Lloyd Marcus

My 84-year-old dad has nuggets of wisdom which he forgets he has shared with me numerous times.  One is about deception.  Dad said a snake can swim underwater a very long time, just like a fish.  But eventually, it must come up for air.  Why?  Because it is not a fish — it is a snake.

Obama deceived millions to win the White House.  All the obvious clues into the true nature of the first black presidential candidate were ignored by the media.  Voters were duped into believing Obama when he presented himself as a moderate, a messiah, “the one we have been waiting for.”

Early into his presidency, Obama came up for air, exposing his great deception.  Every day, with unbridled arrogance, the handsome, deceptive beast reveals more and more of his despicable agenda hidden just beneath the surface.

Barack Hussein Obama is not presidential, nor is he a moderate — far from either, in fact.  This man is a far-left, radical, anti-America, plain-old-Chicago-thug politician.

Mike Bloomberg: Cops Should Go On Strike Until Gun Control Laws Are Toughened. BONUS: Bloomberg Pretty Sweet On Communist Vietnam

Gabe had this in his headline thread but it’s so monumentally stupid that it deserves some extra coverage.

“I don’t understand why police officers across this country don’t stand up collectively and say we’re going to go on strike, we’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe,’’ he told CNN’s Piers Morgan.

First, it’s illegal almost everywhere for cops to go on strike because of the lawlessness that would ensue in some areas. That would actually be an argument in favor of people having their own weapons. If the cops could just pack it in anytime, people would more likely want a firearm.

NSA whistleblowers: Government spying on every single American

The TSA, DHS and countless other security agencies have been established to keep America safe from terrorist attacks in post-9/11 America. How far beyond that does the feds’ reach really go, though?

The attacks September 11, 2001, were instrumental in enabling the US government to establish counter-terrorism agencies to prevent future tragedies. Some officials say that they haven’t stopped there, though, and are spying on everyone in America — all in the name of national security.

Testimonies delivered in recent weeks by former employees of the National Security Agency suggest that the US government is granting itself surveillance powers far beyond what most Americans consider the proper role of the federal government.

In an interview broadcast on Current TV’s “Viewpoint” program on Monday, former NSA Technical Director William Binney commented on the government’s policy of blanket surveillance, alongside colleagues Thomas Drake and Kirk Wiebe, the agency’s respective former Senior Official and Senior Analyst.

The interview comes on the heels of a series of speeches given by Binney, who has quickly become better known for his whistleblowing than his work with the NSA. In their latest appearance this week, though, the three former staffers suggested that America’s spy program is much more dangerous than it seems.
