It’s past time for action.

by Jeff Thomas

“How can an otherwise sane individual become so enamored of a fantasy, an imposture, that even after it’s exposed in the bright light of day, he still clings to it – indeed, clings to it all the harder? No amount of logic can shatter a faith consciously based on a lie.”

~ Lamar Keene, a scam artist who posed as a psychic, describing why it was so easy to fleece people.

Homo sapiens is a creature of habit. Most people have a strong desire to do what they can to create a life (and lifestyle) that is comfortable for them. Once this is done, we curl up and settle in. We then may add the occasional improvement to this situation, but, otherwise, we prefer then to be left alone to maintain what we have created.

It should not, therefore, be surprising if, when that comfy…

Read this shit.

More media lies and bias. They can’t hide their biases anymore. The truth kills them. The internet prevents them from getting away with this.

Just imagine if we didn’t have the Internet available to fact check these assholes. The lies they’re telling now would go unnoticed and be taken as the truth.

This is exactly why I will not read this garbage rag. I feel the same way about the NY Times. They are the worst of the worst.

I truly believe that they are both in the tank, if not outright on the Obama team itself. FAIL

Washington Post: When We Said “Romney’s Bain Capital” Outsourced Jobs, We Never Intended To Imply Romney Was Running It At The Time

Some background on this fighting between Romney and the Washington Post on outsourcing:

The Washington Post’s own fact-checker examined Obama’s charge that Romney was involved in outsourcing, and found it misleading enough to rate Four Pinnochios. There simply wasn’t any evidence Romney sent jobs overseas. And the ad was deliberately misleading when it attempted to cast jobs outsourced to other companies within the US, using American employees as jobs outsourced to other countries.

But then a front-page article ran in the Post, giving Obama the headline he wanted, even though it was contrived just for that purpose.

See, before we were discussing whether Romney outsourced jobs overseas from the firms he took over. Well, he didn’t, I guess. So the Washington Post tries a new tact — did he invest in companies that assisted other companies with their outsourcing needs?

It needs to die now. If it doesn’t die now, we will be stuck with the same shit that the Brits are stuck with. I don’t want any part of that shit.

Vote like your life depends on it. It does.

Obamacare Delenda Est

With John Roberts’ surprising decision last week, the fate of the country’s healthcare system has been thrown back to the people, who have one last chance to kill Obamacare before it kills them by electing Mitt Romney President, electing a GOP majority to the Senate and holding the House in November.

Hyperbole? Maybe. But if the current state of the UK’s NHS is any indication of where we’re headed, and I think it is, the gravity of the situation facing us is pretty clear.
