Another slap in his face from the House.

House panel votes to ban same-sex marriages on US military bases

WASHINGTON – On the same day that President Barack Obama declared his support for same-sex marriage, the House Armed Services Committee backed measures prohibiting the practice on U.S. military bases.

The panel stepped into the gays in the military issue as it considered a sweeping, $642 billion defense bill for next year that buys new weapons, ships and aircraft, increases military pay by 1.7 percent and sets policies for the Pentagon. The committee worked through the day Wednesday and into the early morning Thursday on the legislation that adds billions of dollars to the president’s budget request.

The committee fleshed out a blueprint for next year that calls for a base defense budget of $554 billion, including nuclear weapons spending, plus $88 billion for the war in Afghanistan and counterterrorism efforts. That compares with the administration’s proposal of $551 billion, plus $88 billion.

This was a good victory for Conservatism. It’s time we stopped sucking up to Democrats. The ONLY time you hear about bipartisanship is when Republicans cave to the Democrats. It never works the other way.

So. to all you RINO fucks out there, let  this be another warning. You will get fired.

Fuck RINOs.

Fuck Democrats.

Tea Party defeat of Lugar a warning for others

by Susan Ferrechio Chief Congressional Correspondent

Republican Richard Mourdock’s victory in the Indiana Republican Senate primary Tuesday cut short the 35-year political career of a GOP lawmaker known for his willingness to work with Democrats on Capitol Hill and sent a clear message to other Republicans that compromise is now tantamount to treason.

Mourdock ended Sen. Richard Lugar’s quest for a seventh term with the help of the ultraconservative Tea Party, which sees no need to compromise with Democrats in an era of sluggish economic growth, skyrocketing federal debt and a Democratic president bent on expanding the reach of the federal government.

“Compromise, in the minds of Democrats, is wanting us to surrender, and that is essentially what Sen. Lugar does,” said Greg Fettig, co-founder of Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate, an umbrella Tea Party organization in Indiana that boasts a membership of more than 25,000. “Sen. Lugar epitomizes what is wrong with the GOP.”

The Camp Of The Saints

Today is the Fourth Anniversary of these Dispatches, but the official celebration will not begin until a week hence.

As has become the tradition, the gang here at TCOTS celebrates the occasion with our annual Six Days Of Cheesecake, which is loved and admired by all.

The delay in the celebration is necessitated by a desire to avoid a conflict with Stacy McCain’s annual National Offend A Feminist Week, which he has proclaimed for the next seven glorious days [please see here for details] and which I will be fully participating in with that great gusto you’ve come to expect from your Humble Dispatcher.

Next Monday, I will deliver my annual State Of The Camp Of The Saints Address [or, in the case of Rule 5, 'Undress'] and the festivities will officially begin.

For now, I ask you to check-in frequently over at Stacy’s abode where he will…

Looks like the global warming nutters are losing their minds. I think it’s hilarious on the one hand, and scary on the other. The hilarity comes from their rhetoric and how over the top and bloviated that it is. The scary part is the fact that the shitheads that espouse global warming and are now screaming to raze peoples homes that care to go against their spin on things, actually work for the government!

Well, I have this to say to you shitheads on the left that think like this government  buffoon. Bring it on.

You’re losing the argument on every front, and all you have now are lies and threats.

I love global warming! It’s the best thing to happen to mankind, EVER!

Global Warming Crusaders Lose Steam, Tempers

By Matt Patterson May 06, 2012

Eco-warriors are losing the public relations battle on global warming — and it’s driving them batty.

Take environmental writer Steve Zwick. Writing for, Zwick has called on so-called “climate deniers” to be treated like virtual war criminals: “We know who the active denialists are–not the people who buy the lies, mind you, but the people who create the lies,” he writes. “Let’s start keeping track of them now, and when the famines come, let’s make them pay. Let’s let their houses burn until the innocent are rescued. Let’s swap their safe land for submerged islands. Let’s force them to bear the cost of rising food prices. They broke the climate. Why should the rest of us have to pay for it?”

Those who disagree with him are not merely mistaken, they are malevolent, unworthy even of persuasion through honest debate. Instead, “denialists” deserve only to have their homes razed.

This is becoming a more and more common feature of environmentalist rhetoric. The violent imagery has even seeped into the pronouncements of the eco-priests at the Environmental Protection Agency. Recently, a video surfaced of EPA Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz admitting that his agency’s philosophy is to “crucify” oil and gas companies: “It was kind of like how the Romans used to, you know, conquer villages in the Mediterranean. They’d go in to a little Turkish town somewhere, they’d find the first five guys they saw and they’d crucify them. Then, you know, that town was really easy to manage for the next few years.”

So he was for gay marriage, the for civil unions, then against gay marriage, now he’s for gay marriage. Evolve my ass. It all depends on what direction the wind is blowing.

Now apparently, the military is fighting on his behalf. Unbelievable.

Fire this douche bag!

Get your ass out and vote this asshole out of office in November.

‘On My Behalf’

The debate over same sex “marriage” has engaged the heartfelt feelings and convictions of millions of Americans. Then there is Barack Obama.

In his ABC interview, the president pretended that his much touted “evolution” had now led him, ineluctably, to speak out now, today; he simply could longer stay silent. ABC let him off the hook, but this is not a credible account. In March, the Washington Post was reporting the debate among his advisers on whether the issue would help or hurt the reelection campaign and what, therefore, Obama should say: “Obama’s top political advisers have held serious discussions with leading Democrats about the upsides and downsides of coming out for gay marriage before the fall election.”

The same advisers told the Post that Obama would make the decision based on his gut, but that is an insulting way to refer to the vice president. There is no evidence that Obama planned to speak until Joe Biden said last weekend that he was for gay “marriage” and forced the issue.
