Our affirmative action President is ruining this country. You idiot liberals are to blame. Those of you that chose vote for this man because he is black, and no other reason, are really mentally challenged.

The Lesson of an Affirmative Action President
By James Lewis

You don’t pick brain surgeons by the color of their skin. You pick them by competence only. Same thing with airplane pilots. But we have allowed the profoundly irrational liberal media to persuade the American public that we are supposed to pick a U.S. president by affirmative action. Obama was elected to universal Hosannas because he is black. It wasn’t a secret. That’s why the Left around the world went into ecstasies when Obama ran and got elected.

We’ve been using affirmative action to hire and promote teachers and cops and to popularize movie stars and media heroes. We’ve had a generation of affirmative action agitprop, 24/7/365. Hillary Clinton was going to dictate racial and gender preferences for medical school admissions under HillaryCare. You can bet that reverse-racism is all over the 2,200 pages of ObamaCare. It’s reverse-racism forever!

This is an absolute travesty. The media malpractice in dealing with this administration is appalling!

PRESIDENT OBAMA: By the time I took office, we had a one year deficit of over $1 trillion and projected deficits of $8 trillion over the next decade. Most of this was the result of not paying for two wars, two tax cuts, and an expensive prescription drug program. On top of that, the effects of the recession put a $3 trillion hole in our budget. All this was before I walked in the door.

Sadly, Obama-loving media care not to address this inconvenient truth.

Not exactly.

After all, on March 14, 2008, then Sen. Obama voted in favor of the 2009 budget which authorized $3.1 trillion in federal outlays along with a projected $400 billion deficit. The 51-44 vote that morning was strongly along party lines with only two Republicans saying “Yes.”

When the final conference report was presented to the House on June 5, not one Republican voted for it.

This means the 2009 budget was almost exclusively approved by Democrats, with “Yeas” coming from current President then Sen. Obama, his current Vice President then Sen. Joe Biden, his current Chief of Staff then Rep. Rahm Emanuel, and his current Secretary of State then Sen. Hillary Clinton.

How is this possibly something that happened before Obama “walked in the door” when his Party ramrodded the original budget through Congress with virtually no Republican approval — save Bush’s signature, of course — and the highest members of the current Administration — including the president himself!!! — supported it when they were either in the Senate or the House?

In case you missed it:

Gotta love this one.

Obama Versus Bush on Spending
Very little is safe for Democrats this fall.
By KARL ROVE

‘If Massachusetts puts Brown in, it’s a message of ‘that’s enough.’ Let’s stop the giveaways and let’s get jobs going.”

Marlene Connolly is a 73-year-old Massachusetts Democrat who cast her first vote for a Republican in supporting Scott Brown. Her quote and story comes to us via the New York Times, but she stands out for this reason: She shows us that those who actually cast ballots in the Bay State did so because they are frustrated with the administration’s unrestrained federal spending and failed economic recovery policies.

And here’s what Washington needs to keep in mind as it debates the meaning of Massachusetts. Ramming health care through now won’t insulate Democrats from voter ire in November. It will feed a fire over spending that is already blistering them.

This could get REALLY interesting. I hope the Dems try this shit…

From Hot Air:

GOP threatens Dems: If you try reconciliation, we’ll go nuclear with amendments; Breaking from NYT: Dems “slam the brakes” on ObamaCare

I kind of hope they do it now, because this would simply be traffic gold.

The GOP Senate leadership has privately settled on a strategy to derail health reform if Dems try to pass the Senate bill with a fix through reconciliation, aides say: Unleash an endless stream of amendments designed to stall for time and to force Dems to take untenable votes…

Senator Judd Gregg is getting some attention today because he vowed to make it an “extraordinarily difficult exercise” for Dems to pass the Senate bill through the House while getting the Senate to fix the bill with a “sidecar” through reconciliation…

[T]here’s no limit on the number of amendments GOPers can offer, [a Republican] aide said, or on their subject matter. A senior Democratic aide confirmed that this is the case — and that it’s a concern weighing on Dems.

“If you bring a reconciliation bill to the Senate, it’s a free for all of amendments,” the GOP aide said, cautioning that this was only part of the overall strategy. “There is no way to limit the number of amendments that are voted on. You can’t close debate. Democrats will have to vote on every politically perilous amendment that you can possibly think of.”

It is time for McCain to step down. Retire. Enjoy the golden years.  Leave politics to the sane.

His constant ass kissing of the left over the years has gotten worse as time has moved on.

The McCain-Feingold BS should be the end of it.

Get the hell out of the way so that true conservatives can finally help push America back to the right, where it belongs.

McCain Should Retire
By Claude Sandroff

John McCain clings to more liberal positions than almost any other Republican in Congress. Whether encouraging economic suicide by standing against drilling in Alaska, putting the nation’s security at risk by equating waterboarding with torture, demanding the shuttering of Guantanamo, joining hands with Ted Kennedy to open the floodgates of amnesty to illegal immigrants, nothing seems to satisfy his vanity more than hearing compliments from the leftist press after crossing over to the other side of the aisle.

Now that the Supreme Court has declared much of his crown legislative jewel — the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (McCain-Feingold) — to be unconstitutional, perhaps it’s finally time for John McCain to go back to Arizona while preserving the luster from his honorable national service.  The court’s firm rejection of key funding provisions in McCain-Feingold reveals the philosophical dead-end that bipartisanship for its own sake often produces.  In the end, a bill that purports to average out the demands of the extreme left with those from the other side of the aisle produces nothing but a garbled, unconstitutional mess. By announcing he will not run for re-election, McCain would allow a new conservative vanguard led by tea party patriots to advance in all its principled fury.

Quote of the day:

The payoff in budget savings would be small relative to the deficit: The estimated $250 billion in savings over 10 years would be less than 3 percent of the roughly $9 trillion in additional deficits the government is expected to accumulate over that time.

Tuesday Links:

McCain should retire, really.

Most polarizing President, evah!

Still blaming Bush, yet the Dummycrats have been running the show for four years!

Race baiting never seems to go away. The left just can’t help themselves.

Another corrupt politician getting a helping hand from a corrupt DOJ.

Another school not using common sense. The things we teach our kids these days…

More on the global whining shenanigans that are being perpetrated against humanity.

These people make me ill.

And to think, we were within a short time frame of ruining the world’s economy over lies. The dumbass Democrats keep wanting to push this agenda, because it is all about control for them.

If you think it’s to save the planet, you’re a bigger moron than I gave you credit for.

Climategate: Just Sign on the Dotted Line
By
Dexter Wright

The mainstream media were convinced of global warming theory’s legitimacy by the warnings supposedly signed by large numbers of the world’s climate scientists. The propagandists in this effort were led by the now-discredited Dr. Phil Jones of Britain and former Vice President Al Gore.

Several of the recently leaked Climategate e-mails reveal backstage manipulations to produce a propaganda tool, the Statement of European Climate Scientists on Actions to Protect Global Climate, intended to be unveiled at the Kyoto Climate Conference. Members of the Jones Gang from East Anglia University organized efforts to get just about anyone to sign this statement to push up the numbers. In an e-mail dated 9 October 1997, Dr. Joseph Alcamo admonishes other members of the Jones Gang to forget credentials and just get signatures.

Global Warming and the Science Fair Test
By
Andrew Thomas

Hypothesis: If the Nobel Prize-winning IPCC scientists submitted their climate change research as a grade-school science fair project, it would fail miserably.

Of course, my hypothesis rests on some assumptions. The first is that science will continue to be taught in our public schools, since some forward-thinkers at Berkeley High School seem to think that lab science is just for whites.

The second assumption is that the science fair judges (usually teachers) are unbiased toward climate change “science” and actually understand the scientific method. This is a tall assumption, since global warming propaganda is more and more becoming part of the curricula they teach, while the scientific method takes a back seat.

Interesting tidbit over at CATO.

You think Teh One is a socialist? Well, he’s got plenty of company, he’s also one of the bigger socialists.

How Many Senators Are More Liberal than the Socialist One?
Posted by David Boaz

In a profile of the poetry-reading chief of staff to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), the Washington Post calls Sanders not only “the only socialist in the U.S. Congress,” but also “surely [the Senate’s] most liberal [member].” Surely. I mean, he’s a socialist, right? (And by the way, that isn’t a label that Sanders rejects.)

Well, maybe not. According to the National Taxpayers Union, 42 senators in 2008 voted to spend more tax dollars than socialist Bernie Sanders. They include his neighbor Pat Leahy; Californians Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, who just can’t understand why their home state is in fiscal trouble; and the Eastern Seaboard anti-taxpayer Murderers’ Row of Kerry, Dodd, Lieberman, Clinton, Schumer, Lautenberg, Menendez, Carper, Biden, Cardin, and Mikulski. Don’t carry cash on Amtrak! Not to mention Blanche Lambert Lincoln and Mark Pryor of Arkansas, who apparently think Arkansans don’t pay taxes so federal spending is free. Sen. Barack Obama didn’t vote often enough to get a rating in 2008, but in 2007 he managed to be one of the 11 senators who voted for more spending than the socialist senator.
