Since Obama is fond of bashing Bush for every bogey man under a rock, let’s do a simple comparison between the two. You libtards, should take a look at how your messiah has fared.

Bush or Obama: The Quiz
Randall Hoven

1. President Bush was famous for lacking “intellectual curiosity,” while President Obama has been called “the smartest guy ever to become President.” Who reads more books: Bush or Obama?

2. Bush was often considered to be in the grip of Big Oil. In contrast, Obama is a Harvard-educated lawyer. Which industry contributed more than five times as much as the other to politicians: the oil & gas industry, or lawyers/law firms?

You’ll have to read it to get the answers.

Communism has never worked. Here’s a good article on the Wall.

I still can’t figure out why the hell he thought it was a good idea to skip it.

Obama’s Wall
Bruce Walker

Twenty years ago today, an architectural monument to human enslavement melted before the eyes of the world: the Wall, the horrific complex of barbed wire, mine fields, police dogs, killing zones, and constant military guards was torn down by East Germans who finally saw a chance for liberty.

There was always something surreal about the Wall. After the Second World War, Germany was been bisected into two more or less equal parts. In the east was the Democratic Republic of Germany (East Germany), a collection of former German territories awarded to Poland in Pomerania, Silesia, and the southern half of East Prussia; and in the west was the Federal Republic of Germany, a free democracy cobbled together from the American, British, and French sectors of conquered Germany.

Here’s a look at the health care boondoggle and how it will affect many in this nation. This comes from someone on the edge of poverty.

Obamacare: Killing Jobs and Spiking Inflation
By Jeff Soyer

We know that none of the Democrats who voted for the bill yesterday have actually read all 1900 pages of it. If they did, they are traitors to the future health of our economy. Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Betsy McCaughey lists some things you’d better know:

On Nov. 2, the Congressional Budget Office estimated what the plans will likely cost. An individual earning $44,000 before taxes who purchases his own insurance will have to pay a $5,300 premium and an estimated $2,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, for a total of $7,300 a year, which is 17% of his pre-tax income. A family earning $102,100 a year before taxes will have to pay a $15,000 premium plus an estimated $5,300 out-of-pocket, for a $20,300 total, or 20% of its pre-tax income. Individuals and families earning less than these amounts will be eligible for subsidies paid directly to their insurer.

Now. There are a lot (millions) of individuals who choose not to have insurance. Mostly they are aged 18 to 40-years-old and are in good health. If they are now forced to purchase insurance, that is (let’s use the example above) $5,300 dollars less that they will have to spend on clothing, dining out, electronic gadgets, car payments, etc.

This President really, really misses the mark on so many issues, but the one thing that he cannot, and should NOT be given a pass on, is his main role in life. CinC.

Presidential Priorities

The greatest responsibility of the President of the United States is to serve as Commander in Chief. The current occupant of the White House has shown himself painfully short of capable in that role. Barack Obama had absolutely no experience related to the military or national security prior to his ascension to this position and he has shown no signs that he understands how to lead our military or our country.

He has let our troops in Afghanistan down by failing to heed the urgent call from the commander he appointed for reinforcements. It is closing in on four months since he was told in no uncertain terms that the situation there was dire and our forces were in jeopardy. He has taken the counsel of fixers and political hacks over those of his entire military chain of command. He has focused his energies on remaking our vibrant, free capitalist democracy into a socialist paradise, while ignoring his self-proclaimed, campaign battle cry, war of necessity as a distraction.

The WTF Files…

And this for the WTF files:

Ft. Hood Shooter Attended Same Mosque, at Same Time, as 9/11 Terrorists Did. UPDATE: New and Improved Post With Added al Qaeda Contact Plus Fluffier Nougat!

(update at bottom, below original post)

Apparently that is, according to this AP article via MSNBC, which titles the article “Alleged Shooter Tied to Mosque of 9/11 Hijackers” because, you know, it might’ve been someone else and stuff.

“WASHINGTON – The alleged Fort Hood shooter apparently attended the same Virginia mosque as two Sept. 11 hijackers in 2001, at a time when a radical imam preached there.

Whether the Fort Hood shooter associated with the hijackers is something the FBI will probably look into, according to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.”

Howard Nemerov has a few on the Fort Hood murders. The main reason it worked, they were all unarmed. If only one person at the scene had a concealed hand gun, there would be a lot less people dead and wounded right now. Guaranteed.

Unfortunately, military bases are one huge school zone, if you think about it. Yeah, there are plenty of weapons there. One problem. They are all locked up in an arms room.

The only ones armed are the MPs and civilian police.

It’s a recipe for this type of massacre and it will continue as long as the victims remain unarmed.

Fort Hood: Death by gun control

Yesterday at Fort Hood, disgruntled Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan murdered 12 soldiers and wounded 31 others before being shot and captured.

These soldiers were entrusted to carry fully automatic, military assault rifles when deployed to Afghanistan, where the shooter was about to be sent. But in America, these same soldiers are disarmed when on base. From the Associated Press:

Soldiers at Fort Hood don’t carry weapons unless they are doing training exercises.

First responders at Fort Hood: Fox News gets it wrong

November 7, 9:03 AMAustin Gun Rights ExaminerHoward Nemerov

When Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan allegedly committed mass murder at Fort Hood on Thursday, it took three minutes for armed response to arrive.

Fox News claims that the “first responders” arrived at a scene of “organized chaos.” This statement should arouse healthy suspicion in readers: If they are first responders, why was the scene already chaotic?

Fort Hood: Hasan’s Uncounted Victim?

November 8, 8:19 AMAustin Gun Rights ExaminerHoward Nemerov

In the media coverage of Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan’s mass murder of 13 unarmed Army personnel–and wounding of 29 more–at Fort Hood last Thursday, there was inconsistent coverage of one shooting victim. The consequences of this reach beyond the Fort Hood tragedy and increase the likelihood of future ones.

In most first-tier media reports containing the term “victim” in the title or lede, Police Sergeant Kimberly Munley wasn’t included.
