You first assholes! If you vote for this BS Obamacare, then you need to be signing up for it first. If it’s such a great thing, you douche bags that vote it in, shouldn’t have any problems with that, right?

Dems Won’t Sign On to ‘Obamacare’
by  Connie Hair

Rep. John Fleming (R-La.) is a practicing family physician of 33 years.  He is serving his freshman term in the House, first elected to Congress in late elections from the Bayou State in December of last year. Fleming currently practices medicine in Minden, La.

Last week, Fleming introduced House Resolution 615  which would oblige any member of Congress voting in favor of a government run health care bill to leave their private insurance plan and join the Democrats’ “public option” boondoggle.

Any member of Congress who votes against Obamacare wouldn’t be obliged to sign up for it but those who do, would. So far, Fleming told me, the entire Republican leadership has signed his Fleming pledge.

Oh, and there is NO RIGHT to health care. Morons.

Is There a ‘Right’ to Health Care?
In Britain, its recognition has led to substandard care
By THEODORE DALRYMPLE

If there is a right to health care, someone has the duty to provide it. Inevitably, that “someone” is the government. Concrete benefits in pursuance of abstract rights, however, can be provided by the government only by constant coercion.

People sometimes argue in favor of a universal human right to health care by saying that health care is different from all other human goods or products. It is supposedly an important precondition of life itself. This is wrong: There are several other, much more important preconditions of human existence, such as food, shelter and clothing.

I said it already. FAIL. That’s what Obama has done, and with all likelihood, will continue to do. Look up the word failure in the grand ol’ dictionary, and they’ve replaced LBJ and FDR with BHO.

Obama Fails
By
J.R. Dunn

Over the past couple of weeks, it has become apparent even to politicians and the media that the Demented Spree Act of 2009, better known perhaps as the “Obama Stimulus”, has not worked, and shows no sign of ever working.

Unemployment — the professed reason for the stimulus in the first place — is now at 9.5% and will break 10% within the next few months. Credit remains tight and industry is still fumbling. It is clear that there are no shortcuts back to a steady prosperity, that this recession will be overcome in the exact way such disasters always have been — by working our way out of it. The $787 billion (“real money”, as Everett Dirksen would have put it), already spent, being spent, and to be spent, can be considered as so much waste paper.

Skinned Cats and Tyrants
By
Joseph Ashby

As the old saying goes, there’s more than one way to skin a cat. By the same token, there is more than one way to lose liberty. Specifically, liberty can be taken away or given away.

Perhaps history’s most famous example of giving away freedom is the 1938 Munich Agreement. Brittan’s Neville Chamberlain and other European leaders believed they could stop the advance of Nazi Germany with a policy known as Appeasement. The Munich Agreement allowed Germany to vastly expand its borders without military opposition. In the days following the summit Chamberlain fatefully declared that they had achieved “peace in [their] time.” Not long after, Adolf Hitler blitzed through much of Europe in what would become the deadliest war in world history.

Yo Fiddy2ers! Is this the BS that sucked you in? If it is, how can you continue to believe this lying POS?

This asshole opens his mouth and you should know by now that it is a straight up lie. And the fuckers that he has surrounding him are a bunch of lying assholes too.

Morons.

Just a Reminder

Then-Senator Barack Obama, October 18, 2008:

OBAMA: Well, first of all, I think it’s important for the American public to understand that the $750 billion rescue package, if it’s structured properly, and, as president, I will make sure it’s structured properly, means that ultimately taxpayers get their money back, and that’s important to understand.

But there is no doubt that we’ve been living beyond our means and we’re going to have to make some adjustments.

Now, what I’ve done throughout this campaign is to propose a net spending cut. I haven’t made a promise about…

SCHIEFFER: But you’re going to have to cut some of these programs, certainly.

OBAMA: Absolutely. So let me get to that. What I want to emphasize, though, is that I have been a strong proponent of pay-as- you-go. Every dollar that I’ve proposed, I’ve proposed an additional cut so that it matches.

Burial at Sea by LtCol George Goodson, USMC (Ret)

In my 76th year, the events of my life appear to me, from time to time, as a series of vignettes. Some were significant; most were trivial.

War is the seminal event in the life of everyone that has endured it. Though I fought in Korea and the Dominican Republic and was wounded there, Vietnam was my war.

Now 37 years have passed and, thankfully, I rarely think of those days in Cambodia , Laos , and the panhandle of North Vietnam where small teams of Americans and Montangards fought much larger elements of the North Vietnamese Army. Instead I see vignettes: some exotic, some mundane:
*The smell of Nuc Mam.
*The heat, dust, and humidity.
*The blue exhaust of cycles clogging the streets.
*Elephants moving silently through the tall grass.
*Hard eyes behind the servile smiles of the villagers.
*Standing on a mountain in Laos and hearing a tiger roar.
*A young girl squeezing my hand as my medic delivered her baby.
*The flowing Ao Dais of the young women biking down Tran Hung Dao.
*My two years as Casualty Notification Officer in North Carolina , Virginia , and Maryland .

It was late 1967. I had just returned after 18 months in Vietnam.  Casualties were increasing. I moved my family from Indianapolis to Norfolk , rented a house, enrolled my children in their fifth or sixth new school, and bought a second car.

This is funny shit…

Quote of the day:

Anyway, this news program this morning was discussing what beer will be drank. Apparently Obama drinks Bud. And the other two drink some shit I never heard of, one of them with a orange peel in it. If I wanted my beer with a fruit, I’d drink in a gay bar.

Great article in the NY Times. Yeah, go figure. Sometimes they still get it right, which is probably why they still even have a business. H/T Blackfive.

In Battle, Hunches Prove to Be Valuable
By BENEDICT CAREY

The sight was not that unusual, at least not for Mosul, Iraq, on a summer morning: a car parked on the sidewalk, facing opposite traffic, its windows rolled up tight. Two young boys stared out the back window, kindergarten age maybe, their faces leaning together as if to share a whisper.

The soldier patrolling closest to the car stopped. It had to be hot in there; it was 120 degrees outside. “Permission to approach, sir, to give them some water,” the soldier said to Sgt. First Class Edward Tierney, who led the nine-man patrol that morning.
