I won’t be posting a lot this week. I have a class I’m attending, I have no class, so therefor, I must sit through a week of it. I’ll try to get a post up before I take off in the morning. I have to drive an hour and a half to get to the class. Just great with these gas prices.

Prior to his passing, Andrew Breitbart said that the mission of the Breitbart empire was to exemplify the free and fearless press that our Constitution protects–but which, increasingly, the mainstream media denies us.
“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?” – “Who guards the guardians?” Andrew saw himself in that role—as a guardian protecting Americans from the left’s “objective” loyal scribes.

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Poll after poll in recent months has indicated that Americans have a high level of concern over Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, with one poll showing fully half of the nation wants Congress to investigate the question.
But reporters for the traditional media – networks, major newspapers, major news corporations and conglomerates – mostly have giggled when talk turns to the serious question of just what the U.S. Constitution requires of presidents.

Nevertheless, media organizations from all political persuasions are seeking admittance to a news conference to be held by Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz.
The event is tomorrow at 1 p.m. Mountain Standard Time in Phoenix, 3 p.m. Eastern, and will be live-streamed by WND.
The topic of discussion will be an investigation by Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse into concerns about Obama’s eligibility. It’s the first time an official law enforcement report has addressed many of the allegations about the presumptive 2012 Democratic nominee for president.
The issues include Obama’s eligibility under the U.S. Constitution’s requirements, questions about his use of a Connecticut Social Security number and the image of his purported birth certificate from Hawaii.
It’s still being ignored. Watergate was nothing compared to this. It is an absolute farce that Holder has not been impeached. Obama should be impeached if he is found to have any involvement in this obvious conspiracy on the part of this Administration’s DOJ.
They want your guns, so you can’t resist them. This was their moment in the sun. Unfortunately, in their eyes, they’ve been found out.
There needs to be an accounting. Holder is accountable for DOJ’s involvement from the get go, through the aftermath yet to be determined.
“The killing of Osama bin Laden during a raid by Navy SEALs on his hideout in Pakistan was the top news story of 2011, followed by Japan’s earthquake/tsunami/meltdown disaster, according to The Associated Press’ annual poll of U.S. editors and news directors,” David Crary of the Associated Press reported, presenting the news agency’s top 10 stories for the year.
Fair enough. They were huge stories. The other stories selected were all noteworthy in their own ways as well, but there is one more that is remarkable in its absence from inclusion: Fast and Furious.
There’s no bias in the media! Surely you jest. A few hundred nasty hippies take over a park in DC and there’s no end to the MSM coverage. A few hundred THOUSAND show up for a peaceful march and zip, zilch, nada.
People still trust these morons. At least those that haven’t figured out the Internet.

UPDATE: Obama has dropped his threat to veto the bill and is now expected to sign it into law. Remember – it was Obama’s White House that demanded the law apply to U.S. citizens in the first place.
The bill which would codify into law the indefinite detention without trial of American citizens is about to be passed and sent to Obama’s desk to be signed into law, even as some news outlets still erroneously report that the legislation does not apply to U.S. citizens.
The media have been in bed with Obama from the word go. It has been a dispicable disservice to the people that they supposedly are trying to keep informed. Their bias is so rampant these days, I refuse to watch MSM news of any kind. They treat people like they’re morons, in the case of the left they are correct, but the rest of us are too smart for their lying bullshit.
And FINALLY! There’s a reporter that actually is reporting this fact. Too bad it’s the Canadian media that is doing it.

The media walked right past the decades-long association of Obama with the weird and racist pastor Jeremiah Wright. In the midst of the brief stormlet over the issue, one CNN host — inexplicably — decided that CNN was going to be a “Wright-free zone.” He could have hung out a sign: “No bad news about Obama here.”
The media trashed Hillary. They burned Republicans. They ransacked Sarah Palin and her family. But Obama, the cool, the detached, the oracular Obama — he strolled to the presidency.
Ever wonder why it is that we know absolutely nothing about the current occupant of the White House?
Take for instance:
No childhood friends have surfaced reminiscing about him.
Why did he lose his license to practice law in Illinois? There’s no record of a law practice, or clients.
No school records. No medical records. No baptismal record.
Nobody in Columbia University remembers seeing this guy in any of their classes.
How can anyone say with any honesty whatsoever that the MSM is in any way, shape, or form not biased? He was never vetted prior to the election, and even now there is nothing that the MSM will report that shows this douche bag in a bad light. He’s their boy. Punk asses.

My memory of Ronald Reagan was during the first 7 years of my life as an Army Infantryman. Ronald Reagan was no squishy liberal bipartisan hack. He was the epitome of Conservatism.
Democrats are recasting Reagan as primarily all about bipartisanship, in an effort to claim that our last truly great president was in the tradition of, um, Obama.
Andrea Mitchell takes that still further, claiming it’s wrong to claim that Reagan was an icon of conservatism — he was, in her telling, an icon for bipartisan compromise and moderation.
Jonah Goldberg has a good piece on this shell game, in which conservatives suddenly become bipartisan nice guys the moment they die, so they can be contrasted with current conservatives, who are always Worst. Conservatives. Ever.
