This shit is really ridiculous. The data never supports the anti-gunners, but you’d never know it if you watched anything in the MSM. Bob Owens dissects their latest BS.
Jordy Yager is just the latest in a long line of “journalists” that have enjoyed playing the lying-by-omission game in regards to Mexican gun trace data, parroting a version of the Obama Administration’s failed 90-percent lie.
Here’s Yager lying in the lede:
Nearly 70 percent of all guns found in Mexico came from the U.S. over the past four years, according to data released by the federal government on Thursday.
This kind of lie isn’t accidental or inconsequential. It is a purposeful deception designed to shape public opinion. How do we know the lie is intention in the headline and lede, and not just a “misunderstanding?” Because Yager shows that he’s know the actual facts in the very next sentence.
More than 68,000 of the 99,691 firearms that were recovered between 2007 and 2011, and submitted to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for trace testing, were either made in the U.S. or legally brought into the U.S. at one point, according to the agency.
Yager knows all the relevant data. He knows that the data is only for guns submitted to the U.S. by Mexico, and that the guns submitted are only a fraction of the total, and only the fraction with U.S. manufacturing or importation marks.
In a dangerous power grab that will jeopardize government transparency, the Obama Justice Department wants to redefine federal public record law so that it becomes the sole arbiter in disputes between agencies and individuals who submit requests under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
The unprecedented move would give the Department of Justice (DOJ), an extension of the executive branch, scary authority to determine if and how public records are disseminated throughout government. It would also strip those duties from the agency— Office of Government Information Services (OGIS)—that was created by Congress as a neutral party to mediate FOIA disputes and assure compliance among all federal agencies.
This is not the sort of story you’ll see in the mainstream media since, not surprisingly, the Obama Administration is keeping it under the radar. However, Judicial Watch has obtained an inside congressional document outlining the DOJ’s unscrupulous plot to become FOIA ombudsman. It comes from one of the most influential and powerful chambers in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
In a letter addressed to Attorney General Eric Holder, the California congressman who chairs the Oversight and Government Reform Committee (Darrell Issa) says the proposed modification will have a negative impact on government transparency. The letter also requests documents involving efforts to modify OGIS’s statutorily established FOIA dispute resolution authority by shifting the duties to the DOJ. Holder has until this week to comply with the committee’s request.
Below is a video I found over at Conservative Hideout in which Bill Whittle talks about the history of political correctness which I found very interesting and I thought I would share it with you.
Must view. Political correctness is what has screwed over so many with no facts whatsoever to back it up.

Operation Fast and Furious is the deadliest and most sinister scandal in American history. A scandal so big, it’s worse than Iran-Contra and makes Watergate look like a high school prank gone wrong.
In the early days of the Obama Administration, President Obama claimed his goal was to stop the trafficking of guns from the United States into the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels. He claimed gun dealers in the United States were responsible for sending guns to Mexico. Both of his claims were lies.
In order to push his lies and policies built around them, with a goal of implementing harsher gun control laws and reinstating the assault weapons ban, President Obama packed his administration full of anti-Second Amendment zealots. After all, personnel is policy.
In my new book, Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Coverup, I document the conspiracy of senior Obama officials to subvert the Second Amendment, which led directly to the murders of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, I.C.E. Agent Jaime Zapata and countless, faceless lives in Mexico. It debunks the Obama administration’s lies, denials and excuses. This administration was willing to use humans as collateral damage to push a political agenda, and had no shame in doing so. Now, the administration has no shame in covering up their reckless actions.
THE O-MAN GETS TESTY WHEN REPORTER ASKS ABOUT EXPENSIVE NON-STOP GETAWAYS
While millions of Americans have been forced to cut back on discretionary spending over the last several years – vacations, new cars and other such luxuries – the family Obama seems to have been on a non-stop vacation, estimated by the Daily Mail at a cost of more than $10 million…
Where's my vacation? Oh that's right, I can't afford one in this economy. Not a problem for Teh One! Just ask him! If this were Bush doing the same thing, you'd never hear the end of it with the liberal douche bags in the media.
H/T A lot of Coffee and Sleepless Nights
Since this next election and everything leading up to it will be all racism all the time from the Democrats and MSM, but I repeat myself, I figured this would be a good article to post on this.
Enjoy the read, and fear this election cycle. It’s gonna get ugly.
It seems increasingly clear that Obama and the Democrats intend to use race as a principal theme for attacking Republicans in the 2012 election. Last year Obama suggested that the Tea Party was racist. Eric Holder implies that critics of his handling of “Fast and Furious” are racist. Lloyd Marcus, in his recent AT article, describes the difference between the horribly real racism which has haunted modern history and the cynical exploitation of the killing of Trayvon Martin to make absurd accusations of racism against Republicans. It is worth recounting how utterly racist the Democrat Party has been and how hostile to racism the Republican Party has been.
Republicans through Woodrow Wilson
This difference began with the creation of the Republican Party on February 28, 1854 in Ripon, Wisconsin, when the party’s explicit purpose was to oppose Democrat “Slaveocrats.” Two years later, when Fremont was the first Republican presidential nominee, his campaign slogan was “Free soil, free men, Fremont.” Lincoln, who was the Republican least hostile to slavery in the South, nevertheless clearly stated: “I do not recall any time in my life in which I did not believe slavery was morally wrong.”
Other Republican leaders were abolitionists before the Civil War. Samuel Chase was so anti-slavery that he was nicknamed before serving in Lincoln’s cabinet as the “Attorney General of Fugitive Slaves.” Lincoln would appoint Chase as chief justice, and one of the first things Chase did was to allow John Rock to be the first black attorney to argue cases before the Supreme Court.
Democracies are in general prone to fits of the mob. Just read the Thucydidean account of the debate of Mytilene. Or watch a 1950s Western as the lynch party heads for the town jail. Fear of democratically sanctioned madness is why the Founders came up not just with classical tripartite government to check and limit power between the judicial, legislative, and executive branches, but also now generally disdained notions of allowing states to impose property qualifications for voting, the Electoral College, two senators guaranteed per state regardless of population, and senators originally selected without direct votes.
They were not concerned that under Athenian-style democracy the proverbial “people” and their populist Rottweilers in government and the press could not check the power of capital and birth, but were worried, as Juvenal later quipped, over who would police the police. So there had to be checks on the mob as well — a fickle and unpredictable force as we saw in the last eight years.
Algore must be in a tizzy. His global warming stupid empire is crumbling around his ears. And yet, the SCOAMF keeps doubling down on this shit with the EPA. Wake up people.
Evidence was found in a rare mineral that records global temperatures
Warming was global and NOT limited to Europe
Throws doubt on orthodoxies around ‘global warming’
By Ted Thornhill
Current theories of the causes and impact of global warming have been thrown into question by a new study which shows that during medieval times the whole of the planet heated up.
It then cooled down naturally and there was even a ‘mini ice age’.
A team of scientists led by geochemist Zunli Lu from Syracuse University in New York state, has found that contrary to the ‘consensus’, the ‘Medieval Warm Period’ approximately 500 to 1,000 years ago wasn’t just confined to Europe.
In fact, it extended all the way down to Antarctica – which means that the Earth has already experience global warming without the aid of human CO2 emissions.
If he didn’t weigh as much as a small house, I’d love to midget toss Reverend Al and the rest of the race parade right out of Florida, banished from ever speaking again about the intersection of racism and gun violence.
Trayvon Martin’s killing by a Hispanic man improbably named George Zimmerman a month ago has suddenly become a lightning rod galvanizing the race-baiting industry and bringing the usual suspects together to whine about inequality, racism, and how they can be paid to shut up until they once again run out of blood money.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m a graduate of concealed carry classes and NRA-taught classes on personal defense inside and outside of the home, and have some additional weapons training outside of that. It is my responsibility to know the law, and I suspect that we have enough facts to know that George Zimmerman was morally, ethically, and more than likely legally in the wrong when he provoked a conflict with Trayvon Martin that left the young man dead. I firmly believe that if circumstances played out another way, Martin actually had a much stronger justification for using lethal force against Zimmerman.
