All Corruption, All the Time! Thursday, May 17 2012

The House GOP is investigating the Energy Dept.’s loan program. The Obama administration, all corruption, all the time! They’re the quicker fucker uppers. As we’ve already seen though, the House GOP doesn’t have much in the way of teeth, so I don’t see this doing anything other than shining a light on the cockroaches again.

By Andrew Restuccia

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) wants to hear from two Cabinet officials — Commerce Secretary John Bryson and Energy Secretary Steven Chu — as part of an investigation into the Energy Department’s loan program.

Republicans alleged at a hearing Wednesday that Bryson, while chairman of BrightSource Energy, planned to lobby the White House for speedy finalization of a $1.6 billion loan guarantee for the Ivanpah solar generation project in California.

Issa told The Hill on Wednesday that he plans to invite Bryson and Chu to an upcoming hearing on the BrightSource loan.

“As a matter of fact, we’re going to ask Secretary Bryson to come to the committee for his direct lobby effort of the White House,” he said.

All Racism, All the Time… Thursday, May 17 2012

Sticking with the all racism all the time meme, I thought I’d toss these out there. The political correctness that runs amok in the university system in America is stifling. The left uses it like a club and wields it with out any regard to the consequences.

I’ll bet a dollar to a doughnut that some idiot liberal will post a comment that I’m racist for posting these. That shit doesn’t work any more morons.

At any rate, enjoy the read.

Racism and the PC Inquisition

By John T. Bennett

Monday last week, The Chronicle of Higher Educationannounced that Naomi Schaefer Riley was fired from their blog “Brainstorm” for writing that black studies programs should be “eliminated” because they are “left-wing victimization claptrap.”  The next day, the News & Observer of Raleighreported that a staggering 54 classes were suspected of academic fraud at UNC-Chapel Hill.  Every single one of those 54 classes were within UNC’s Department of African and Afro-American studies, according to a UNC investigation.  Is it pure coincidence that academic fraud found such a welcoming and statistically unlikely home in the black studies department?  Or is it predictable that the department with the most rigid PC orthodoxy created a cloister for academic fraud?

The incessant pressure of political correctness is not just an academic matter.  Any standard of conduct, any law, any test is called racist if minorities on average can’t meet the standard, follow the law, or obtain identical scores compared to non-minorities.  The result can only be described as a PC Inquisition, which gives rise to orthodoxy with real-world consequences.  In general, any discussion of pressing social problems is silenced if minority groups are described as responsible for their own actions and circumstances.

The Rules Are Changing for Talking about Race

By Jay Schalin

Attorney General Eric Holder should have been more careful about what to ask for.  When he first took office, he called for a national dialogue on race, calling us “a nation of cowards” for not facing the subject honestly.

It may be that he’s getting what he asked for, but it is not taking the direction he expected.  There’s perhaps a little too much courage and honesty going on for his tastes.

Until very recently, white people in the public eye carefully avoided any comments that fell outside narrow politically correct boundaries; to do so was to volunteer to be the defendant in a media show trial, with a loss of reputation and career the likely result.  Even Bill Cosby, who had achieved a universal father-figure status among African-Americans and was arguably the nation’s most popular black person, had his ears pinned back with a firestorm of criticism in 2004 when he suggested that problems in the black community originated in that community rather than with white racism.

Obama Budget Defeated 99-0 in Senate Wednesday, May 16 2012

Ha! Absolute SCOAMF. Can’t even get one of his own to vote for the bullshit he’s pushing!

Fire this asshole in November!

Obama budget defeated 99-0 in Senate

President Obama’s budget suffered a second embarrassing defeat Wednesday, when senators voted 99-0 to reject it.

Coupled with the House’s rejection in March, 414-0, that means Mr. Obama’s budget has failed to win a single vote in support this year.

Republicans forced the vote by offering the president’s plan on the Senate floor.

Democrats disputed that it was actually the president’s plan, arguing that the slim amendment didn’t actually match Mr. Obama’s budget document, which ran thousands of pages. But Republicans said they used all of the president’s numbers in the proposal, so it faithfully represented his plan.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, Alabama Republican, even challenged Democrats to point out any errors in the numbers and he would correct them — a challenge no Democrats took up.

“A stunning development for the president of the United States in his fourth year in office,” Mr. Sessions said of the unanimous opposition.

Muslim Brotherhood… Tuesday, May 15 2012

Why are we not going after these asshats instead of placating them? They are inside our government and they have the pResident’s ear. Islamophobia is a tool that these fuckers use to shut people up. Information dominance is being practiced by these douche bags on a daily basis.

Be prepared. This shit is going to get real ugly before it gets better.

Watch this, or die ignorant.

Alpha Versus Beta… Tuesday, May 15 2012

Excellent post over at Hookers and Booze. You know you want to go it out, just because the blog has a bitchin’ name.

Alpha Versus Beta

Posted by LC Aggie Sith

I don’t care for “pretty men”. I find them to be unpalatable, and not just from a physical perspective. It’s the mentality that comes with the so-called metrosexuality of today’s quintessential man. Frankly, I despise a man who tells me he is “in touch with his feelings”. I don’t mind that he is, ok? I mind that he feels the need to tell me!! Seriously?? Keep it to yourself. Women are complex enough without metros trying to become more like them.

NLRB Rule Speeding Union Elections Thrown Out by Judge… Tuesday, May 15 2012

And another slap in the face of unions. The more slap downs the better. In this case, their scheme of trying to shorten voting time, which inhibits employers from voicing their side of the argument against unions, was slapped down by a federal judge because the vote for it was done without a quorum.

Good shit.

NLRB Rule Speeding Union Elections Thrown Out by Judge

A rule change by the National Labor Relations Board that allows for faster votes on union elections was thrown out by a federal judge who said the agency lacked a quorum when it approved the measure.

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said only two of the three members of the board required to constitute a quorum actually voted on the rule. He said representation elections will have to continue under previously established procedures unless the board votes with a proper quorum. The rule went into effect on April 30.

“According to Woody Allen, eighty percent of life is just showing up,” Boasberg wrote in an opinion issued today. “When it comes to satisfying a quorum requirement, though, showing up is even more important than that.”

The rule change, challenged in court by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, simplified and shortened balloting at a time when the unionized share of the workforce is falling, according to labor relations consultant Phillip Wilson. The compressed schedule could have cut the time permitted for voting in half to as few as 15 days, Wilson said.

Unions win 87 percent of elections held 15 days or less after a request, a rate that falls to 58 percent when the vote takes place after 36 to 40 days, according to a February report by Bloomberg Government.

Google Shuts Down Another Conservative Blog: KSM Trial Edition Tuesday, May 15 2012

If you are on Google Blogger, you may want to think about moving it to a more user friendly site, such as WordPress! Apparently, free speech and the exercise there of, is frowned upon over there.

Google Shuts Down Another Conservative Blog: KSM Trial Edition

This past Sunday morning, I took to my blog, The New York Conservative, to opine on the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (“KSM”) and his fellow terrorists. The full text of the post is available further below.

The New York Conservative was a blog hosted by Google Blogger. I started the blog in February of this year and had posted 17 columns prior to the KSM entry, commenting on political matters and issues affecting the Catholic Church. I would post my entries on Facebook and occasionally would email a link to friends or other interested parties. I received no complaints about the blog whatsoever.

On Monday, the pro-U.S. security group Secure American Now posted a link to my KSM piece on its website. The link received numerous hits and generated multiple comments on the Secure America Now page.

However, a few hours after Secure America Now linked to the New York Conservative, I received a form email, no reply possible, from Google Blogger informing me that the New York Conservative had been deleted. The email classified my blog as “spam” in violation of Google’s terms of service. There was no further explanation. My URL was dead; all of the content, everything I ever posted, was gone.

Vulnerable Democratic Senators Balk at Obama’s Gay Marriage Endorsement… Monday, May 14 2012

And another oopsie for Obama. I was wondering when the Democrats in the states that have Constitutional amendments against teh gay marriage would take a step back from his heinous (sic). Guess that didn’t take long. SCOAMF.

Vulnerable Democratic senators balk at Obama’s gay marriage endorsement

By Alexander Bolton

Senate Democrats facing difficult reelections are breaking with President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage, a sign the issue is politically dangerous in battleground states.

Sens. Jon Tester (Mont.) and Claire McCaskill (Mo.), the two most vulnerable Democratic senators, have declined to endorse Obama’s call for the legalization of gay marriage.

Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), Bob Casey (Pa.) and Bill Nelson (Fla.), Democrats who have easier races but in states that could become more competitive by November, have also backed away from Obama’s stance.

They all represent states with constitutional amendments or laws banning same-sex marriage.

African-American Church Leaders Condemn Obama For Gay Marriage Support… Monday, May 14 2012

Looks like the SCOAMF pissed off his base! Oops. I always wondered why the hell black folks voted Democrat. The liberal position goes against the black community’s basic Christian principles in so many ways, it’s unfathomable to me. I say the same thing about Catholics and Jews, but I think those groups may be starting to wake up and smell the bullshit.

African-American Church Leaders Condemn Obama For Gay Marriage Support

BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Just days after President Barack Obama announced his support for same-sex marriage, pastors and priests around Maryland took to their own pulpits with their reaction– and in some cases– condemnation of the president.

Derek Valcourt explains the president’s comments have folks on both sides of the issue fired up.

Both sides hope the president’s position helps sway votes in their favor when the issue hits Maryland’s ballot this November.

“I think same-sex couples should be able to get married,” President Obama said.

When President Obama announced that his position on same-sex marriage had evolved, it outraged some African-American pastors like Pastor and Del. Emmett Burns.

“He has said to his base, African-Americans, ‘I am going against your beliefs and your thoughts’,” Burns said.

He’s so opposed to same-sex marriage, he told church members he will no longer support the president and now predicts Obama will lose the election because of it.
