And another oopsie for Obama. I was wondering when the Democrats in the states that have Constitutional amendments against teh gay marriage would take a step back from his heinous (sic). Guess that didn’t take long. SCOAMF.
By Alexander Bolton
Senate Democrats facing difficult reelections are breaking with President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage, a sign the issue is politically dangerous in battleground states.
Sens. Jon Tester (Mont.) and Claire McCaskill (Mo.), the two most vulnerable Democratic senators, have declined to endorse Obama’s call for the legalization of gay marriage.
Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), Bob Casey (Pa.) and Bill Nelson (Fla.), Democrats who have easier races but in states that could become more competitive by November, have also backed away from Obama’s stance.
They all represent states with constitutional amendments or laws banning same-sex marriage.

Looks like the SCOAMF pissed off his base! Oops. I always wondered why the hell black folks voted Democrat. The liberal position goes against the black community’s basic Christian principles in so many ways, it’s unfathomable to me. I say the same thing about Catholics and Jews, but I think those groups may be starting to wake up and smell the bullshit.
BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Just days after President Barack Obama announced his support for same-sex marriage, pastors and priests around Maryland took to their own pulpits with their reaction– and in some cases– condemnation of the president.
Derek Valcourt explains the president’s comments have folks on both sides of the issue fired up.
Both sides hope the president’s position helps sway votes in their favor when the issue hits Maryland’s ballot this November.
“I think same-sex couples should be able to get married,” President Obama said.
When President Obama announced that his position on same-sex marriage had evolved, it outraged some African-American pastors like Pastor and Del. Emmett Burns.
“He has said to his base, African-Americans, ‘I am going against your beliefs and your thoughts’,” Burns said.
He’s so opposed to same-sex marriage, he told church members he will no longer support the president and now predicts Obama will lose the election because of it.

In keeping with the anti-feminazi theme for the week, I present you this little nugget. A two part series on The Rules.
Bros Before Hos: Part I
Bros Before Hos: The Rules
At the start of a new relationship, you may find yourself consumed by your new flame. All your time is spent with her and your calendar is booked weeks in advance with your shared plans.
The losers in this blissful situation are your friends — the ones who were there when you were single. It’s easy to find the guys being pushed out of your plans as you embark on a new and exciting relationship, but it’s also wrong.
You need your friends — you always have and you always will. That’s why our Bros Before Hos Rulebook will guide you through the tricky process of balancing your girl and your guys. Here are the rules to live by.
via Bros Before Hos: Part I – AskMen.
Bros Before Hos – Part II
One of the biggest challenges in relationships isn’t keeping the girl, it’s how to keep your friends and the girl. A sad truth of dating is that once you’ve succeeded in getting her, you lose time with your friends. You can easily find yourself under pressure to focus your energy on your partner and the blossoming relationship.
Needless to say, you need a good balance of both in your life. Spending the rest of your days without women would be unthinkable, but so would going without your bros.

And continuing our anti-feminazi theme for the week, I found this gem:
Why do so many women insist on carrying out this war against men? Absolute gender equality isn’t going to happen; we have gender equality now. Even if in a million years, men and women somehow made this unrealistic ideal happen, there will always be a sexual distinction between men and women causing some sort of inequality (if only on the level of basic physical needs). Or should I say women and men, as not to imply a male superiority? Why the hell should people go out of their way to be politically correct and use this “he/she” nonsense so a few chicks with language complexes won’t be offended? Oops, I said “chicks”. Damn.
Why the hell do women get offended when they’re called chicks? I don’t see how that word can be remotely offensive in anyway. But, some women think it’s derogatory and belittling. Some women are so petty, that they resent any male implication in the english language. Who cares? What if guys suddenly felt like bitching and wanted to eradicate all the derogatory male phrases from the language? Buster, Pal, Buddy, Stud, Hunk. Oooh, don’t call me a buster, I’ll be offended.
Who’s to say what’s offensive anyway? Just because a few feminist extremists think that something’s offensive, does the whole society have to change their way of doing things? I don’t want mother nature being called mother nature anymore, but rather father nature. I don’t want ships to be referred to as female anymore, but rather male. The phrase “she’s a good ship” offends me. I don’t want liberty to be a lady. Why does it have to be lady liberty? Why do people say “she’s beautiful” when referring to cars? Why not he? Who cares? It’s just the way things have always been. It’s not meant to be offensive, so why doesn’t the offended party pull their head out of their ass, and stop bitching about it.

No surprise here. Just a reminder that ANYTHING that comes from the Washington Post is suspect at best.
Why anyone pays any attention to that rag is beyond me.
The Washington Post’s controversial exposé on the young Mitt Romney just became more controversial. Presented as an investigative journalism piece, Jason Horowitz’s article contrasts sharply with a similar “flashback” article on Romney recently published in the June 2012 print edition of Automobile Magazine by author David Murray. Both articles chronicle anecdotal events in Romney’s teen years as told by classmates and friends. But while both quote some of the same people, the Washington Post article contains several inexplicable inconsistencies, omissions and false inferences.
The WaPo article focuses on the alleged John Lauber haircutting incident, including quotes from Romney childhood friend Phillip Maxwell: “’It was a hack job,’ recalled Maxwell, a childhood friend of Romney who was in the dorm room when the incident occurred. ‘It was vicious.’”

Late last night, in a shameful example of editorial cowardice, the Chronicle of Higher Education fired Naomi Schaefer Riley. Naomi is a good friend of mine, a sometimes contributor to THE WEEKLY STANDARD, and a fine writer. And the story of what happened to her is highly instructive.
Naomi joined the Chronicle’s “Brainstorm Blog” a little over a year ago. It was a good hire—she’s written two insightful books on academia, God on the Quad and The Faculty Lounges, along with dozens of articles on the subject. Her postings were smart and entertaining. (For a couple of samples, click over to “If this is art, your middle-school daughter is Picasso” and “No sex for you.”)
Last week she wrote about the world of “Black Studies” in a post titled “The most persuasive case for getting rid of Black Studies? Read the dissertations.” You should read the whole thing, because it’s only 520 words, but here’s the gist of Naomi’s argument:
By Naomi Schaefer Riley
NB: To see Chronicle editors’ final response to the below post, please read “A Note to Readers.”
You’ll have to forgive the lateness but I just got around to reading The Chronicle’s recent piece on the young guns of black studies. If ever there were a case for eliminating the discipline, the sidebar explaining some of the dissertations being offered by the best and the brightest of black-studies graduate students has made it. What a collection of left-wing victimization claptrap. The best that can be said of these topics is that they’re so irrelevant no one will ever look at them.
That’s what I would say about Ruth Hayes’ dissertation, “‘So I Could Be Easeful’: Black Women’s Authoritative Knowledge on Childbirth.” It began because she “noticed that nonwhite women’s experiences were largely absent from natural-birth literature, which led me to look into historical black midwifery.” How could we overlook the nonwhite experience in “natural birth literature,” whatever the heck that is? It’s scandalous and clearly a sign that racism is alive and well in America, not to mention academia.

Dan Savage is a piece of shit maggot. Why anyone would believe this piece of shit is anti-bully is beyond me. But, his heinous (sic) sure loves the guy. Maybe the SCOAMF and Savage are butt buddies. Seems about right to me.
The biggest bully and the littlest bully, you figure out which one is which.
By Ben Shapiro
President Barack Obama hates bullying.
That’s why he took time out in the middle of a Congressional election cycle — in peak season, actually — to cut a video for a little-known group called the It Gets Better Project. The It Gets Better Project was designed to protect children, particularly lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender children and teens, from bullying. Its suggested pledge states, “Everyone deserves to be respected for who they are. I pledge to spread this message to my friends, family and neighbors. I’ll speak up against hate and intolerance whenever I see it, at school and at work. I’ll provide hope for lesbian, gay, bi, trans and other bullied teens by letting them know that ‘It Gets Better.’”
This is a good message. Nobody is for bullying, particularly of children and teens.
There was only one problem.
The It Gets Better Project — the group that Obama chose to work with from among dozens of anti-bullying groups around the country — is run by one of the world’s most egregious bullies, gay sex columnist Dan Savage.
Savage made headlines this week when it came out that he had bullied students at the National High School Journalism Convention, calling sections of the Bible “bulls—” and then cursing students who walked out on him as “pansy-assed.”
But that was no surprise.

Good article on how liberals manipulate the language. They tend to tie it in knots and distort the message so that it sounds pleasing to the masses. If they really said what they meant, no one would buy into any of their bullshit.
Because they convey meaning, words can be powerful tools. Hence, they should be used with care. Like most tools, words can be dangerous if used improperly. In fact, they can become weapons. Depending on the intentions of the speaker, words can either inform and communicate or deceive and manipulate. For two decades, liberal wordsmiths have been distorting the English language to deceive and manipulate Americans. So why do liberals find it necessary to distort the English language to deceive and manipulate? The answer is simple: because many liberal beliefs, practices, and policies are reprehensible to the American public. If these beliefs, practices, and policies were called what they really are, Americans would rise up and reject them.
One of the best examples of how liberals distort the English language to deceive can be found in what they call themselves: “progressives.” If the American left is progressive, then what is progress? Is bankrupting the American economy progress? Is using government entitlements to garner political support progress? Is encouraging an entitlement mentality progress? Is promoting a victim mentality progress? Is perpetuating racial strife progress? Is transforming America’s public schools and colleges into leftist indoctrination centers progress? If these things are considered progress, then the left is certainly progressive. But if these are seen for what they really are, the left should stop calling itself progressive and start calling itself destructive.
