The IRS scandal is nothing new. It’s been going on since 2008. Obama has his fingerprints all over it.

The MSM is an accomplice in every aspect of the Obama Administration’s scandals.

Strassel: Conservatives Became Targets in 2008

The Obama campaign played a big role in a liberal onslaught that far pre-dated Citizens United.

The White House insists President Obama is “outraged” by the “inappropriate” targeting and harassment of conservative groups. If true, it’s a remarkable turnaround for a man who helped pioneer those tactics.

On Aug. 21, 2008, the conservative American Issues Project ran an ad highlighting ties between candidate Obama and Bill Ayers, formerly of the Weather Underground. The Obama campaign and supporters were furious, and they pressured TV stations to pull the ad—a common-enough tactic in such ad spats.

What came next was not common. Bob Bauer, general counsel for the campaign (and later general counsel for the White House), on the same day wrote to the criminal division of the Justice Department, demanding an investigation into AIP, “its officers and directors,” and its “anonymous donors.” Mr. Bauer claimed that the nonprofit, as a 501(c)(4), was committing a “knowing and willful violation” of election law, and wanted “action to enforce against criminal violations.”

AIP gave Justice a full explanation as to why it was not in violation. It said that it operated exactly as liberal groups like Naral Pro-Choice did. It noted that it had disclosed its donor, Texas businessman Harold Simmons. Mr. Bauer’s response was a second letter to Justice calling for the prosecution of Mr. Simmons. He sent a third letter on Sept. 8, again smearing the “sham” AIP’s “illegal electoral purpose.”

Also on Sept. 8, Mr. Bauer complained to the Federal Election Commission about AIP and Mr. Simmons. He demanded that AIP turn over certain tax documents to his campaign (his right under IRS law), then sent a letter to AIP further hounding it for confidential information (to which he had no legal right).

Why Microstamping and Bullet Serialization Won’t Work

A firearm examiner dispels the myths of these common gun-ban schemes being pushed in states throughout the nation.
by C. Rodney James, Ph.D.

As an independent firearm examiner, the fact that I am paid by prosecution, defense or an individual makes no difference. I work for science. My job is to find out what happened. As one who works with law enforcement, I want the bad guys punished. I also want to see the innocent freed and the law-abiding citizen unmolested by government. As a taxpayer, I want my taxes spent wisely.

Working for a government subcontractor, I personally watched millions of dollars frittered away through bureaucratic ineptitude, always with the best of “stated” intentions. Living through this made a lasting impression. With the proposed schemes of microstamping and ammunition coding, I see a plan to destroy the American ammunition industry while invigorating crime from the organized level down to the street thug.

With microstamping and bullet serialization, we face the latest schemes to evolve from what has previously been referred to as “Ballistic Fingerprinting.” This idea was to create a databank of images of the rifling striae, or marks, on fired test bullets as well as breech face signatures impressions and firing-pin impressions on a fired cartridge case for all new semi-auto handguns—and possibly all new guns—sold in the United States. The idea would be to include these images for comparison with crime-scene ammunition evidence entered into the current computer system using the Integrated Ballistic Identification System IBIS, which is the actual hardware and software system used under the National Integrated Ballistic Identification Network NIBIN.

With IBIS/NIBIN as it now stands, the computers do a rough comparison of bullet and breech-face characteristics with those in the crime-evidence database and select images within the general “class characteristic” range, leaving the firearm examiner to look for a potential match of individual characteristics. If there is a probable match, the actual fired evidence is requested for a microscopic comparison to a suspected crime firearm.

…is easy to find, but this one takes the dumb shit prize.

What a fucking moron.

Only a moron can make the connection that a tornado was caused by global warming.

They did the same shit when it was global cooling that was going to destroy the world.

Flashback 1975: Outbreaks Blamed On Global COOLING…

Democratic Senator uses Okla. tornado for anti-GOP rant over global warming

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming.

Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters.

Accused Fort Hood Shooter Paid $278,000 While Awaiting Trial

Injured soldier outraged suspected shooter receives salary while his family financially struggles in recovery

The Department of Defense confirms to NBC 5 Investigates that accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan has now been paid more than $278,000 since the Nov. 5, 2009 shooting that left 13 dead 32 injured. The Army said under the Military Code of Justice, Hasan’s salary cannot be suspended unless he is proven guilty.

If Hasan had been a civilian defense department employee, NBC 5 Investigates has learned, the Army could have suspended his pay after just seven days.

Personnel rules for most civilian government workers allow for “indefinite suspensions” in cases “when the agency has reasonable cause to believe that the employee has committed a crime for which a sentence of imprisonment may be imposed.”

Meanwhile, more than three years later soldiers wounded in the mass shooting are fighting to receive the same pay and medical benefits given to those wounded in combat.

More on Benghazi may be coming out that will continue to show Obama and Clinton to be liars.

The scandal plagued Obama administration’s time for getting away with their Chicago politics is coming to an end.

Ex-Diplomats Report New Benghazi Whistleblowers with Info Devastating to Clinton and Obama

More whistleblowers will emerge shortly in the escalating Benghazi scandal, according to two former U.S. diplomats who spoke with PJ Media Monday afternoon.

These whistleblowers, colleagues of the former diplomats, are currently securing legal counsel because they work in areas not fully protected by the Whistleblower law.

According to the diplomats, what these whistleblowers will say will be at least as explosive as what we have already learned about the scandal, including details about what really transpired in Benghazi that are potentially devastating to both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

…an essential gas for life on earth.

In Defense of Carbon Dioxide

The demonized chemical compound is a boon to plant life and has little correlation with global temperature.
By HARRISON H. SCHMITT AND WILLIAM HAPPER

Of all of the world’s chemical compounds, none has a worse reputation than carbon dioxide. Thanks to the single-minded demonization of this natural and essential atmospheric gas by advocates of government control of energy production, the conventional wisdom about carbon dioxide is that it is a dangerous pollutant. That’s simply not the case. Contrary to what some would have us believe, increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will benefit the increasing population on the planet by increasing agricultural productivity.

The cessation of observed global warming for the past decade or so has shown how exaggerated NASA’s and most other computer predictions of human-caused warming have been—and how little correlation warming has with concentrations of atmospheric carbon dioxide. As many scientists have pointed out, variations in global temperature correlate much better with solar activity and with complicated cycles of the oceans and atmosphere. There isn’t the slightest evidence that more carbon dioxide has caused more extreme weather.

The current levels of carbon dioxide in the earth’s atmosphere, approaching 400 parts per million, are low by the standards of geological and plant evolutionary history. Levels were 3,000 ppm, or more, until the Paleogene period (beginning about 65 million years ago). For most plants, and for the animals and humans that use them, more carbon dioxide, far from being a “pollutant” in need of reduction, would be a benefit. This is already widely recognized by operators of commercial greenhouses, who artificially increase the carbon dioxide levels to 1,000 ppm or more to improve the growth and quality of their plants.

…it’s not going to after it’s passed, just like the last amnesty boondoggle that was passed in 1986. The ONLY thing it does is give at least 11 million people who broke our laws amnesty for the privilege of doing so, for no other reason than to give the Democrats another permanent voting block that could change the way this country goes forward, or in the liberal case, assbackwards.

I fear that this country will lose any pretense of freedom under Democrats, and the sheeple will just fall in line and let it happen.

This farce of a bill must be stopped dead in its tracks. If the border is not enforced first and foremost, then this sham of “immigration reform” will just open the floodgates for more people and will be rife with fraud from the word go. It’s a failure before it even starts. And don’t tell me it’s for the children. That fucking line of bullshit doesn’t fly with me.

Morning Bell: Immigration Bill Doesn’t Secure the Border

Must Washington fix our broken southern border? You bet.

Will the comprehensive immigration reform bill help? You bet it won’t.

The number one flaw of the bill is it starts by giving amnesty to the unlawfully present population in the United States. As soon as the bill passes, those in the country contrary to U.S. immigration law are granted status to stay.

Amnesty immediately creates an incentive for illegal border crossings and overstays. Thus, the bill’s strategy would drive up the cost of securing the border. To make matters worse, the draft law states that anyone who was present in the U.S. before 2012 qualifies—creating massive opportunity for fraud, since there is no proof required that applicants have been here for several years.

While supporters of the bill trumpet its “border security” features, in reality, the law delivers nothing new—other than the promise of spending a lot more money and running up our debt.

As I watched the Boston fiasco unfold, I was appalled at the very thought that people would submit to a government shutdown of an entire city.

That, and the fact that only 1 in 10 within that state have a firearm of any type, most likely none of them an “assault” style weapon. I hate the term assault rifle, because those are not available to the common citizen. Not without an exorbitant and prohibitive tax just to own one, but I digress.

This is a major failure in and of itself. Freedom is too precious just to hand it over to government just because they said so.

With all that happened, any asshole politician that says I don’t need a high cap magazine, or “assault” rifle to defend myself, well, just look at the Boston PD, FBI and a multitude of other agencies and the number of rounds that they used in this whole deal and tell me that again. They’re supposedly trained in their use too. Pathetic.

The Boston Bombings and the 2nd Amendment

By Jonathan F. Keiler

As terrible as the Boston marathon bombing was, it was the subsequent searches and shootouts that might have the greater long-term implications for supporters of the 2nd Amendment, as well as those uncomfortable with the increasing militarization of local and national police forces. Four related issues bear consideration in the wake of these events.

Boston’s Disarming — Since 1998 Massachusetts has suffered under one of the nation’s most restrictive and extensive gun control regimes. Predictably, this did not increase public safety but rather produced soaring crime rates. However, it did result in the third lowest rate of gun ownership in the country 12.6% behind only New Jersey and Hawaii.

So when Dzhokhar Tsarnaev fled into Watertown, he had little to fear from the local residents, barely one in ten of whom likely had firearms available, and presumably none an “assault weapon” or high-capacity pistol. How those residents felt as an armed and murderous terrorist roamed the streets while they were effectively disarmed, unable to protect themselves and their loved ones, is still a matter of speculation. A spike in Massachusetts gun purchases restrictions and all is a good bet.

Maryland my own state with a gun ownership rate only modestly higher than Massachusetts 21% — ranked 42 nationally will likely be in a similar situation in a few years, thanks to draconian new restrictions on firearms here. One hopes that at least some Maryland politicians are questioning their recent votes banning assault weapons and high capacity magazines.

In any event, in the wake of the events in Boston, it should be harder for gun-control advocates to parrot their standard line that firearms for home defense are a danger to individuals and to the community at large, rather than useful tools.

This is a good read. Are you paying attention?

All Terrorism is Connected

The Tarnaev brothers were cruelly successful, but they are far from the only terrorists over the past decade with big ideas about carnage in America. There is a temptation with each act of terror to see it as an isolated act, connected to the mental state of the actor, but not to larger forces. The FBI used to have theories about “Sudden Jihad Syndrome” and “Lone Wolves” that were not only wrong, but also pulled law enforcement off the track.

“Sudden Jihad Syndrome” was invented by the FBI to explain why people who lived quietly in the United States for some period of time “suddenly” went berserk and killed others. Why Naveed Haq shot six people at the Seattle Jewish Federation, killing one; why Hesham Hadayet, an Egyptian with a history of radical statements, shot up the El Al ticket counter in LA; why Derek Shareef, a convert to Islam, planned to firebomb a mall in Rockford, IL; and why Bosnian Sulejman Talovic, killed five people in a shopping center in Salt Lake City. It was supposed to explain why Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad shot up an Army recruiting center in Little Rock, and Kosovar Arid Uka killed two soldiers on a U.S. Army bus in Germany. The FBI won’t call it “jihad,” but a “bolt from the blue” was also supposed to explain why Maj. Nidal Hassan killed 13 people at Ft. Hood; it doesn’t explain why he yelled “Allahu Akbar” as he did it.

…which isn’t saying anything new.

Fair warning, my crude ass is on display in the following.

He continues to use the 40% of all gun purchases take place without a background check. That bogus statistic was taken from decades ago prior to the background check being mandatory and it’s not even a survey that can be considered scientific.

Yet, time and time again, this tyrannical asshole keeps spouting lies to further his agenda. I am tired of this lying piece of shit. I can’t believe that Americans are so fucking stupid as to elect this asshole twice, when all he does is blame shit on other people, lie, take vacations, golf. He continues to be a colossal failure and has yet to do his fucking job.

If you voted for this twinkle toed cock sucker, then I blame your dumb ass for screwing over the greatest country on earth and turning it into a shit hole.

Obama Hectors, Lies on Gun Control Statistics (Again)

President Obama still has not submitted a budget, but between his vacations he is now back out campaigning for his gun control ideas. During remarks he delivered moments ago, the president took a harsh, lecturing tone as he once again claimed that 40% of all gun purchases in America take place without any background check.

Everyone who purchases a firearm in a retail or licensed resale setting must undergo a background check. This is true whether the purchase is made in a brick and mortar store, at a gun show, or via a licensed online gun retailer.

The president’s claim that 40% of all gun sales fall outside the national background check system is based on a single survey of 251 people done two decades ago. The federal background check system did not even become mandatory until 1994.

John Fund shot down the 40% statistic back in January.

If that alone didn’t make the number invalid, the federal survey simply asked buyers if they thought they were buying from a licensed firearms dealer. While all Federal Firearm Licensees do background checks, only those perceived as being FFLs were counted. Yet, there is much evidence that survey respondents who went to the smallest FFLs, especially the “kitchen table” types, had no idea that the dealer was actually “licensed.” Many buyers seemed to think that only “brick and mortar” stores were licensed dealers, and so the survey underestimating the number of sales covered by the checks.

Another reason for the high number is that it includes guns transferred as inheritances or as gifts from family members. Even President Obama’s background proposal excludes almost all of those transfers.
