Just got done smoking that bad boy. Man, what a fine cigar. A very nice medium bodied cigar with a wrapper that is an oily and smooth dark maduro. The roll was firm and the draw was excellent. It burned evenly and was a pleasure to smoke.There was no bite to the cigar. Smoooooth… It tasted better than I expected.
Good cigar for St. Patty’s day.

I won’t be posting a lot this week. I have a class I’m attending, I have no class, so therefor, I must sit through a week of it. I’ll try to get a post up before I take off in the morning. I have to drive an hour and a half to get to the class. Just great with these gas prices.
Any way, here’s an article from the great Andrew Breitbart. This was what he was working on prior to his death, and the folks over at Breitbart.com are continuing his work.

That fairy dust green energy Obama (SCOAMF) is pushing for is a really, really stupid idea.
Nobel Prize biophysicist: “The Nonsense of Biofuels” [Fritzworth]
Ash Jogalekar (himself a scientist) reports at his website on a scientific editorial, “The Nonsense of Biofuels”, written by Hartmut Michel, who won the Nobel Prize for his own research into biophysics. The gist of Michel’s editorial (which is not accessible, Jogalekar’s link notwithstanding) is that there just isn’t enough efficiency in biophysical processes. Open it up for an extended quote from Jogalekar’s post.
All these hurdles lead to a rather drastic lowering of photosynthetic efficiency which gets watered down to a rather measly (but still staggeringly efficient by human standards) 4% or so.

During the more than a year I was fortunate to share the Confederate Yankee Blog with Bob Owens, its founder, I wrote a series of articles on the rationale and practical issues of gun ownership. With the beginning of a new year, and my new blog, I thought it worthwhile to produce a new, updated series on that issue and the many related issues swirling around it.
This is an outstanding read. You are sorely missing out if you don't read this. I've only read the first and can't wait to read the rest of the series.
