Ronaldus Magnus Tuesday, Feb 8 2011

Ronald Reagan after his 100th birthday is now being coopted by the Democrats. At least those morons on the left are sure tying themselves in knots trying to make it seem like Reagan was somehow a bipatisan hack of their own stripes. Funny shit that.

Anywho, Ace of Spades has a great round-up of ass kicking Reagan spoiling the delight of the left and their dream of Teh One being like Ronald Reagan.

My memory of Ronald Reagan was during the first 7 years of my life as an Army Infantryman. Ronald Reagan was no squishy liberal bipartisan hack. He was the epitome of Conservatism.

Andrea Mitchell: GOP Misusing Memory of Ronald Reagan By Falsely Claiming He Was A… Conservative

Oh Dear God.

Democrats are recasting Reagan as primarily all about bipartisanship, in an effort to claim that our last truly great president was in the tradition of, um, Obama.

Andrea Mitchell takes that still further, claiming it’s wrong to claim that Reagan was an icon of conservatism — he was, in her telling, an icon for bipartisan compromise and moderation.

The Only Good Conservative Is A Dead Conservative, And More Stupid Liberal Tricks

Jonah Goldberg has a good piece on this shell game, in which conservatives suddenly become bipartisan nice guys the moment they die, so they can be contrasted with current conservatives, who are always Worst. Conservatives. Ever.

Andrea Mitchell Was Smoking Crack In The 1980s

Here’s a clip from a 1987 White House press conference. An impertinent pervstache asks President Reagan about who should take the blame for the deficit.

Andrea Mitchell – Ronald Reagan Remix

Sam Donaldson, arrayed in full Romulan Battle Eyebrows, assaults Supply Side economic theory.

Ronald Reagan responds by sitting Maynard Keynes’ mom down and telling her that her son was a failure and a dirty hippie.

Go check it out. He has good videos of Ronald Reagan smacking the libtards in their collective gobs.

America Divided… Monday, Jan 17 2011

The division in America is palpable. I actually hate liberals. I think they’re morons and have a weak grasp on reality and wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in their fat asses.

This is an excellent post over at Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler:

A House Divided
by LC Subotai Bahadur

I have been wandering about the web, and scribbling away. I was over at CHICAGO BOYZ [despite the name, it is an excellent economics and politics blog that is Moonbat-free] and the subject under discussion was the level of division in our country and whether the current media/political jihad against Sarah Palin can be compared to the media/political jihad against Pym Fortune in the Netherlands that led to his assassination [to the quiet joy of the Dutch media and the Dutch political establishment]. For those not familiar with him, he was a rich, openly gay, entrepreneur whose political party had as its main point that Muslim immigrants into the Netherlands would have to accommodate themselves to, and assimilate into, Dutch society, and not the other way around.

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder Part 1,000,506… Friday, Jan 14 2011

I  didn’t know what I wanted to write about, but this topic is always fair game.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. That’s got to be the one and only possible reason that the liberals could make the leap that any Conservative could have had ANYTHING to do with that murdering asshole in Arizona.

Facts be damned, the left still tries to point the finger at the right. It’s absolutely pathetic.

I think one of the biggest idiots on the left is Markos Moulitsas. He was one of the main morons running his suck hole about how the right was responsible for a lunatic that had no political leanings whatsoever.

You need to look at your own side of the aisle asshole. The vitriol that we had to put up with for eight fucking years makes anything the right has said pale in comparison. You’re  a lying piece of shit and likely just as mentally deranged as the asshole that killed those people in Arizona.

Another asshole butt monkey on the left is Bill Maher.

That moron tried to link the anyone that owns a gun to this, saying “If you love guns, just admit it — like it’s a vice,” Maher said. “It’s like alcohol or drugs or sex addiction or gambling… It’s not good for you or anyone else, but you like it.” And another: “The NRA should just change their name to the ‘Assassin’s Lobby’”  Those two statements alone offends millions in America; IF (sic) the shit that the left says about those of us that own a gun were true; he’d already have been thinned from the herd. What an idiot.

The speech that O-douche-nozzle gave in Arizona was pathetic at best. Some on the right think it was good, but I think he didn’t go far enough in shutting up the idiots on the left. He left too much room for the assholes that want to spew their hate at the right to continue doing so.

Nice try Barry, but no cigar.

The only thing  that drives the violence in this country comes from the morons on the left and their enablers in the media. To all of you I say: Fuck you very much.

Black Conservatives Bad Rap… Wednesday, Apr 7 2010

Black Conservatives getting a bad rap from other blacks. Seems that those black folks that can’t see through their own color are the ones with issues. As in racist issues. I see more racism coming from black Democrats, and Democrats in general, than from Conservatives, or Republicans.

The Democrat party is the party that tried to block the civil rights movement. The Democrats were the ones voting against every civil rights issue that came to bear. It was a reluctant Johnson that signed the Civil Rights Act, which came from a Republican Congress. It’s high time for black people to see the Democrats for who they really are, racists.

Black conservative tea party backers take heat
By VALERIE BAUMAN

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) – They’ve been called Oreos, traitors and Uncle Toms, and are used to having to defend their values. Now black conservatives are really taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement—and for having the audacity to oppose the policies of the nation’s first black president.

“I’ve been told I hate myself. I’ve been called an Uncle Tom. I’ve been told I’m a spook at the door,” said Timothy F. Johnson, chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, a group of black conservatives who support free market principles and limited government.

“Black Republicans find themselves always having to prove who they are. Because the assumption is the Republican Party is for whites and the Democratic Party is for blacks,” he said.

Johnson and other black conservatives say they were drawn to the tea party movement because of what they consider its commonsense fiscal values of controlled spending, less taxes and smaller government. The fact that they’re black—or that most tea parties are white—should have nothing to do with it, they say.

“You have to be honest and true to yourself. What am I supposed to do, vote Democratic just to be popular? Just to fit in?” asked Clifton Bazar, a 45-year-old New Jersey freelance photographer and conservative blogger.

San Bernardino County Sheriff… Saturday, Mar 20 2010

There will be an election for many state offices in California June 8, 2010.

I met one of the candidates for Sheriff, Paul Schrader. He was a down to earth fellow, he was with his wife and seemed like a pretty squared away dude.

He mentioned that our current sheriff was appointed, not elected and that our county doesn’t even have a K-9 unit. We are the largest county in America, and have no K-9 unit! I was like WTF? He said that we have to borrow them from elsewhere.

He served in the USMC for four years and then 27 years in law enforcement.

He told me that he would hire more former military to fill the ranks, because there is a big difference between them and someone that has never served.

After he left, I thought about the CCW issue, and kicked myself for not asking the question.

But, fear not, his website states the following:

Carrying a Concealed Weapon CCW

California is a “May Issue” state; the decision to grant a CCW (Carry a Concealed Weapon) Permit being granted (or refused) at the discretion of the County Sheriff or Police Chief. Some sheriffs/chiefs issue on a reasonable basis, others can be next to impossible to persuade.

I will break down the walls to a CCW permit in San Bernardino County. If you meet the qualifications, you will not be denied a CCW. I will order an audit of this system and take politics out of receiving a CCW.

I am a strong NRA supporter.

That alone gets my vote!

He states that he is a fiscal conservative and that is also necessary in these tough times.

Vote for Paul Schrader!

Check out his website: Paul Shrader for San Bernardino Sheriff

Make them Prove it! Friday, Mar 19 2010

Don’t vote for some idiot, just because he’s a Republican claiming Tea Party ties. Make sure that they are actually Conservative and not playing the part as a RINO.

Make would-be Tea Party leaders prove they support Second Amendment
By David Codrea

We talked yesterday about a new national “conservative” group founded by the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and I raised concerns about automatically aligning the liberty movement with prominent members of the Republican Party establishment. After all, if the GOP as a whole had been championing republican, that is, Constitutional values all along, we’d hardly need a “Tea Party” movement, would we?

That the establishment worries the growing freedom movement may siphon off votes to deny them power is evident—no less a leadership luminary than former MA governor/GOP presidential nomination contender Mitt Romney is out there telling those enraged by betrayal that whatever you do, don’t vote third party. Romney, who signed a ban on semiautomatic firearms while governor, would rather have us support someone like, say, semiautomatic firearm ban bill author Mark Kirk, than jump ship.

Republicans Threaten to Nuke the Process… Tuesday, Jan 26 2010

This could get REALLY interesting. I hope the Dems try this shit…

From Hot Air:

GOP threatens Dems: If you try reconciliation, we’ll go nuclear with amendments; Breaking from NYT: Dems “slam the brakes” on ObamaCare

I kind of hope they do it now, because this would simply be traffic gold.

The GOP Senate leadership has privately settled on a strategy to derail health reform if Dems try to pass the Senate bill with a fix through reconciliation, aides say: Unleash an endless stream of amendments designed to stall for time and to force Dems to take untenable votes…

Senator Judd Gregg is getting some attention today because he vowed to make it an “extraordinarily difficult exercise” for Dems to pass the Senate bill through the House while getting the Senate to fix the bill with a “sidecar” through reconciliation…

[T]here’s no limit on the number of amendments GOPers can offer, [a Republican] aide said, or on their subject matter. A senior Democratic aide confirmed that this is the case — and that it’s a concern weighing on Dems.

“If you bring a reconciliation bill to the Senate, it’s a free for all of amendments,” the GOP aide said, cautioning that this was only part of the overall strategy. “There is no way to limit the number of amendments that are voted on. You can’t close debate. Democrats will have to vote on every politically perilous amendment that you can possibly think of.”

Time for McCain to Retire… Tuesday, Jan 26 2010

It is time for McCain to step down. Retire. Enjoy the golden years.  Leave politics to the sane.

His constant ass kissing of the left over the years has gotten worse as time has moved on.

The McCain-Feingold BS should be the end of it.

Get the hell out of the way so that true conservatives can finally help push America back to the right, where it belongs.

McCain Should Retire
By Claude Sandroff

John McCain clings to more liberal positions than almost any other Republican in Congress. Whether encouraging economic suicide by standing against drilling in Alaska, putting the nation’s security at risk by equating waterboarding with torture, demanding the shuttering of Guantanamo, joining hands with Ted Kennedy to open the floodgates of amnesty to illegal immigrants, nothing seems to satisfy his vanity more than hearing compliments from the leftist press after crossing over to the other side of the aisle.

Now that the Supreme Court has declared much of his crown legislative jewel — the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (McCain-Feingold) — to be unconstitutional, perhaps it’s finally time for John McCain to go back to Arizona while preserving the luster from his honorable national service.  The court’s firm rejection of key funding provisions in McCain-Feingold reveals the philosophical dead-end that bipartisanship for its own sake often produces.  In the end, a bill that purports to average out the demands of the extreme left with those from the other side of the aisle produces nothing but a garbled, unconstitutional mess. By announcing he will not run for re-election, McCain would allow a new conservative vanguard led by tea party patriots to advance in all its principled fury.
