ObamaCare is the end of Roe v. Wade… Tuesday, Jun 30 2009

Been out for a bit. Household 6 had surgery and forced me into minimal, no, blogging for a bit. She is doing well. Sore, but getting around OK on her own.

And without further ado:

Speaking of medical procedures, the ObamaCare garbage will come to a head when his cronies on the left finally realize that Roe, where the government has no right to dictate to you or your doctor will be in complete loggerheads with each other.

Yeah, enjoy that government intervention on your behalf. Well, “Maybe this isn’t going to help. Maybe you’re better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller.”

Progressive Vagina Warriors will have a fit in 3…2…1.

Is ObamaCare the End of Roe v. Wade?
By Jeffrey Lord

Is ObamaCare poised to extinguish Roe v. Wade?

Talk about the law of unintended consequences.

Stated or unstated, a driving force behind modern liberalism takes root in the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, in which abortion was legalized. The Court found a “right to privacy” guaranteed by the due process clause of the 14th Amendment, saying that a woman had a constitutional right to abort her child up until the “point at which the fetus becomes viable.” The Court quite specifically defined viability as the point at which a fetus is “potentially able to live outside the mother’s womb, albeit with artificial aid. Viability is usually placed at about seven months (28 weeks) but may occur earlier, even at 24 weeks.”

China is Worse than Gitmo… Tuesday, Jun 16 2009

What? Guantanamo Bay was more humane than China? No way! That’s not what the libtards in the MSM have been telling us!

Uighurs Tell FNC: Better Human Rights at Guantanamo Than in China
By Brent Baker

FNC’s Catherine Herridge traveled to Bermuda to meet the four Chinese Muslim Uighurs just released from Guantanamo Bay and she elicited from them that living in China is worse than life at Guantanamo. Talking to them through an interpreter at their new home, a pink bungalow with a swimming pool, Herridge reported how she “asked which was worse: Life at Gitmo versus China?” The interpreter relayed, over the voices of all of the men talking: “Of course it’s China. There’s no guarantee for human rights there.”

Taliban (Islam) Hates Music… Monday, Jun 15 2009

Hey leftards, you better pay attention. Let the Muslims do as they please and they’ll be visiting your dumbasses in short order. Musicians for Islam, yeah, that’s the ticket.

Taliban beat musicians, shaved their heads and left them tied to trees overnight because they performed at a wedding

They believe music is un-Islamic. Why? Hadith Qudsi 19:5: “The Prophet said that Allah commanded him to destroy all the musical instruments, idols, crosses and all the trappings of ignorance.”

The Hadith Qudsi, or holy Hadith, are those in which Muhammad transmits the words of Allah, although those words are not in the Qur’an.

Religion and Violence… Wednesday, Jun 10 2009

An excellent essay on Judaism and Christianity as they relate to Islam and violence.

Too often there are Muslim apologists that insist on equating the Christian Crusades as being the pillar of Christianity and “proof” that Christianity is as violent as Islam, if not more. Along with many Bible references of an historical nature, also taken out of context by the apologists and applied incorrectly to Judaism and Christianity.

No matter how much the Islam apologists try to do it, the Crusades were anything but an example of spreading Christianity by the sword. The Crusades were defensive responses to Islamic encroachment on Christian lands. It doesn’t take a historian to figure that out. It does take a moron a huge leap in conjecture and innuendo to make the case that the Crusades are similar or worse than the spread of Islam by the sword.

Read this for a really well done essay on the topic.

Raymond Ibrahim: Are Judaism and Christianity as Violent as Islam?
by Raymond Ibrahim

My essay from the Middle East Quarterly (Summer 2009 vol.16 num.3, p. 3-12):

“There is far more violence in the Bible than in the Qur’an; the idea that Islam imposed itself by the sword is a Western fiction, fabricated during the time of the Crusades when, in fact, it was Western Christians who were fighting brutal holy wars against Islam.”[1] So announces former nun and self-professed “freelance monotheist,” Karen Armstrong. This quote sums up the single most influential argument currently serving to deflect the accusation that Islam is inherently violent and intolerant: All monotheistic religions, proponents of such an argument say, and not just Islam, have their fair share of violent and intolerant scriptures, as well as bloody histories. Thus, whenever Islam’s sacred scriptures—the Qur’an first, followed by the reports on the words and deeds of Muhammad (the Hadith)—are highlighted as demonstrative of the religion’s innate bellicosity, the immediate rejoinder is that other scriptures, specifically those of Judeo-Christianity, are as riddled with violent passages.

Back at it… Monday, Jun 8 2009

Well, back to work.

I am recovering from my knee surgery, which has gone quite well. Thanks be to God. I am recovering quickly and I think that my knee will no longer give me the troubles it did.

I also took the week off from blogging. I needed the break from the news and the constant BS that comes along with following that. Who needs that stress after surgery. I watched maybe an hour of news during the week just to see if America was still there. Other than that, nada.

Looks like Geert Wilders is back in the news. Must be pissing off the Euro-weenies. A case of classic liberal moronic reasoning. Geert tells it like it is. Too bad the political correctness of the Euro-weenies is so ingrained.

Wilders Causes Another Row. Pre-Captivity Stockholm Syndrome
By Thomas Landen

In November 2008 a Dutch journalist, Joanie de Rijke, was abducted by Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. She was held captive, raped repeatedly, and released after six days for a ransom of 100,000 euros ($137,000). After her ordeal, she acknowledged that her captors “did horrible things to me,” but added in several media interviews “They also respected me,” and emphasized “They are not monsters.”

In a speech in the Dutch Parliament last Thursday, the Dutch opposition leader Geert Wilders referred to Joanie de Rijke’s case.

“She was raped, but she was not angry. The journalist who went looking for the Taliban in Afghanistan saw her curiosity end in a cruel ordeal of multiple rape. While this would make others angry or sad, this journalist shows understanding. She says: ‘They also respected me.’ And she was given tea and biscuits.”
“This story” Wilders said,

“is a perfect illustration of the moral decline of our elites. They are so blinded by their own ideology that they turn a blind eye to the truth. Rape? Well, I would put this into perspective, says the leftist journalist: the Taliban are not monsters. Our elites prefer to deny reality rather than face it. One would expect: a woman is being raped and finds this unbearable. But this journalist is not angry because the Muslim involved also showed respect. Our elites, whether they are politicians, journalists, judges, subsidy gobblers or civil servants, are totally clueless. Plain common sense has been dumped in order to deny reality. It is not just this raped journalist who is suffering from Stockholm syndrome, but the entire Dutch elite. The only moral reference they have is: do not irritate the Muslims – that is the one thing they will condemn.”

Liberal Fascism Running Amok… Tuesday, May 12 2009

Liberal fascism is what we have now. Obama is the true Hitlerite. Calling George Bush Hitler, was a ruse that the left employs constantly to its advantage. The true fascists are the liberals in America. Just look at the policies of the left and compare them to Hitler and his “change” that was called for in Germany. It is chillingly similar to Obama and his minions.

Don’t be a sucker for Obama, or the left’s ways. It will kill America if you let it.

Barack Obama, the Quintessential Liberal Fascist
By
Kyle-Anne Shiver

“They fear that the development and building of People’s (community) Organizations is the building of a vast power group which may fall prey to a fascistic demagogue who will seize leadership and control and turn an organization into a Frankenstein’s monster against democracy.”
- Saul Alinsky responding to his critics, Reveille for Radicals; p. 199

When Saul Alinsky began building his community-organization movement in 1930s Chicago, observers were watching Alinsky with one eye, while with the other eye observing the building of communist and fascist movements in Europe.  It wasn’t hard then to see in Alinsky’s programs at home, elements of the people’s revolution from Russia, as well as some of the same “in your face” tactics being employed by Hitler’s Brownshirts.

What Alinsky’s critics saw was the burgeoning of a national movement, the carefully manipulated construction of people’s organizations, which all had two elements in common:  (1) a collectivist creed, which denied the existence of personal responsibility; and (2) an amoral dogma, in which all means were justified by an imaginary utopian end.

Iran, Nukes, Israel, USA, and others… Thursday, May 7 2009

Iran’s nukes are an issue that will be dealt with sooner, or later. The problem with later, is that they may have a developed weapon that they can fire back at whomever happens to strike at them.
I think Israel won’t wait too much longer to knock Iran’s dick in the dirt over the nuke issue.

They did it with Iraq in 1981. They’ll do it with these idiots if they push it much further. Slow them down and develop an anti-missile system that can defend against attack. Too bad Obama thinks that missile defense is a bad idea; simpleton. You have more leverage against rogue nations if you can defend against their nuclear ambitions, and they can’t defend against yours.

Why attacking Iran may be morally and militarily necessary
By
James Lewis

The decision to go to war is always a profound moral question, for any sane and civilized country. It is also a military and political question, and in the case of Iran, situated as it is at the head of the Persian-Arab Gulf, a major economic question. All the ducks have to be in a row for the decision to be made.

SecDef Gates argued in public testimony last week that knocking out Iran’s nuclear installations would make little sense, because it would only slow down the mullahs’ rush to nukes, and not bring them to a screeching halt. But in a crisis like this one, no public statement can be believed; disinformation is at least as common as truth-telling. Some people have argued that Gates took the military option off the table, thereby Jimmy-Carterizing Obama good and proper. In this view, Obama is committing public self-castration for the cause of peace.

Torture? You’re kidding me, right? Wednesday, Apr 29 2009

I find Barry O. to be quite despicable. I think he has endangered America in a huge way. Only time will tell. I just hope I am not in the same time zone that it happens in. It is one thing to be a Socialist bordering on Communist President. It is quite another to sacrifice the US for you political agenda and kowtowing to the world’s dictators and despots.

Barry Honey, Can We Talk about Torture?
By
Kyle-Anne Shiver

My dear Mr. President, I’ve just finished reading the formerly top-secret, classified CIA memos detailing interrogation techniques used in the aftermath of 9/11.  And frankly, Barry honey, I’m shocked.

Positively shocked that any President of the U.S.A. would make such documents public knowledge.

Legal Torture: The Upturned Moral Universe of Progressives
By
Miguel A. Guanipa

The topic of torture is in the headlines again, resuscitated by the Democrats, an assembly most grievously afflicted with the bane of idleness.

The reasons, of course, are manifold, leading among which is the fact that the Obama experiment is desperately in need of a compelling distraction from the dreadful economic results it has thus far yielded. There are also the latent vestiges of unresolved animus toward the previous administration from a boisterous fringe that refuses to be pacified. But one reason for having a renewed interest in this issue which liberal democrats can never be accused of is that they suddenly find themselves aggrieved with the unbearable burden of a heavy conscience. In fact there is not one lone liberal Democrat in Congress who cares one iota that prisoners of war have been or are being tortured. This may sound like a rather bold statement, but it is firmly grounded on historical fact.

Obasama Pisses Off the Iranian People… Sunday, Mar 22 2009

Yep. Way to go douche-nozzle. The Iranian people are truly pissed off at Obasama. His message last week was directed at the so called “leaders” of Iran. The idiots that call themselves the leadership of Iran do their utmost to squash the Persian culture.

From Alicia Unleashed:

I can tell you that Iranians are infuriated with the message, as am I. Iranians do not think  that the Islamic regime of Iran is their government. They look at it as an occupying army of Muslim killers determined to destroy what Muhammad and his killers could not do for 1400 years. The mullahs have done all they can  to prevent people from celebrating the norooz and a dozen other celebrations such as Charshanbeh soori (the fire festival) for the last 30 yeas. They hate and try to destroy the Iranian culture, like they did in all other previously none Muslim countries . But the more they try to stop the many celebrations in Iran the more the people resist. historically the Arab Muslim invaders tried to ban the Norooz celebrations from the beginning, but we payed them lots of tax to keep it alive.Norooz is an Iranian celebrations and Islamist mullah occupiers see it as a nationalistic unifying force that has nothing to do with their agenda.what the hell is this guy talking about……Babak Iran.

Obama…FAIL Friday, Mar 20 2009

And yet another failure by Obambi… Let’s “hope” it doesn’t “change” to EPIC FAIL…

Reach-Across

Obama tries some with the mullahs. His special videotaped, Farsi-subtitled holiday message to Iran goes on about our “common humanity.” The Iranian people, many of them huge fans of banned, underground American culture, are already good with that. Mullahs, not so much. Message falls down in the part NYT buried:

“So in this season of new beginnings I would like to speak clearly to Iran’s leaders,” he said. “We have serious differences that have grown over time. My administration is now committed to diplomacy that addresses the full range of issues before us, and to pursuing constructive ties among the United States, Iran and the international community.”
