This letter from David Codrea is excellent. If you are ignorant of the “Fast and Furious” gun walking scandal, I suggest you go over to David’s site and get caught up.
There really needs to be some impeachment going on over this one.

I won’t begin this with letter with the salutation “Dear,” because I only have contempt for you, and the disgusting responses you gave to The Daily Caller when they asked you about the Congressional investigation into the Fast and Furious “gunwalking” international criminal conspiracy (see article for video–Examiner.com does not accomodate the html code to embed it here).
Has Guam tipped over and capsized yet?
And have you “fl[own] a space shuttle” through the “gun show loophole” yet—you know that “hole in our gun control laws” you lie about when you say “untold thousands of unlicensed private weapons dealers…are selling firearms, including automatic assault rifles of the type that walked away in Operation Fast and Furious.”

Anyone out there with an SKS have experience with the last round not feeding?
Took out the SKS on Sunday just to see if I could get it to cycle through. Last time out it was only firing single shot, which turned out to be the gas selector switch being up.
I load it with the 10 rounds now and it cycles normally until I get to the last round. It seems like the magazine arm isn’t pushing the last round all the way up, as the bolt locks open when I get to the last round.
Spring issue maybe?
Don’t want to start bending and tweaking the thing unless I absolutely have to.
Anyone with experience with this, please drop a line in the comments.

You still think this asshole isn’t after your guns? Think again. Just look at the Fast & Furious debacle to get a clue. That operation’s sole purpose was to give the gun grabbing douche bags an excuse to go after the Second Amendment in earnest.
Obama administration officials are deliberately keeping gun owners in the dark about the president’s gun-control agenda as we head into next year’s national election, because administration officials know that when NRA members and gun owners show up at the polls en masse, anti-gun candidates lose.
The Obama campaign’s strategy goes like this:
1. Neutralize gun owners and NRA members as a political force in the upcoming national election by pretending to be pro-gun or at least not focused on pushing a gun-control agenda;
2. With gun owners neutralized, Obama will be able to win the election. After the president is re-elected, he won’t have to answer to voters because he won’t have to face another re-election battle;
3. Launch a full-scale, all-out assault to rip the Second Amendment out of the Bill of Rights through legislation, litigation, regulation, executive orders and international treaties — in short, every lever of power at the administration’s disposal.
Barack Obama spent his entire political career proudly and publicly pushing for the most radical anti-gun positions you can imagine. He endorsed a total ban on the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns. He opposed right-to-carry laws. He voted to ban nearly all commonly used hunting-rifle ammunition.

Fast and Furious is getting some serious traction now. It’s about time. Obama and his cronies should be impeached for this. If a civilian had done any of this, they would be prosecuted for accessory to murder at a minimum. High crimes and misdemeanors, yeah, they pretty much did exactly that.
The central characters in the failed “Fast and Furious” firearms investigation were 19 men and one woman, all legal residents of the U.S., accused of laying down hundreds of thousands of dollars in illicit cash at Phoenix-area gun shops to buy an arsenal of high-powered weapons for Mexican drug smugglers.Between September 2009 and December 2010, congressional investigators said, they purchased or aided in the purchase of more than 2,000 AK-47 assault weapons, Barrett .50-caliber sniper rifles, FN 5.7mm semi-automatic pistols and other assorted rifles, shotguns and handguns that later were “walked” into Mexico. About half the weapons remain unaccounted for.They paid cash, as much as $900,000, and with each purchase they signed their names on Form 4473, a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ATF document, swearing under the threat of committing a felony that they were not purchasing the weapons for someone else — that they were not “straw buyers.”But they were, and the ATF knew it.

“New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010,” Sharyll Atkisson reports.
That directly contradicts his statement to Congress.
Proof now exists that as early as July, 2010, Holder had been apprised:
The investigation, initiated in September 2009 in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Phoenix Police Department, involves a Phoenix-based firearms trafficking ring…and straw purchasers are responsible for the purchase of 1,500 firearms that were then smuggled to Mexican drug trafficking cartels.
Did Eric Holder Lie To Congress?Operation Fast and Furious continues to simmer. Included in the weekend data dump, though, was something sure to heat it up.
New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress. On May 3, 2011, Holder told a Judiciary Committee hearing, “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” emphasis added.
Well, I mean that’s an easy mistake to make. Ten months. A few weeks. What’s the big diff?
