UPDATE: Obama has dropped his threat to veto the bill and is now expected to sign it into law. Remember – it was Obama’s White House that demanded the law apply to U.S. citizens in the first place.
The bill which would codify into law the indefinite detention without trial of American citizens is about to be passed and sent to Obama’s desk to be signed into law, even as some news outlets still erroneously report that the legislation does not apply to U.S. citizens.

I tried the new BK fries, twice. Both times I thought that they sucked. I gave it a second chance, because the change may have tainted my initial impression. It didn’t. Why the hell did they change them?
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Stupid, stupid business decision.
On top of that, they added more trash to the whole thing. Now instead of just wrapping the burger in paper, they have added a box to it. The paper is still there, just folded over with a part of the burger sticking out of it.
Two thumbs down on the fries and new container boxes.
Guess I’ll just stick to the onion rings.

Doesn’t really surprise me, but I am glad to see that most Americans see the real problem is government, not businesses.
Unfortunately, I think there are some people that think big labor isn’t a problem. I rank big labor a close second to big government as being the problem that America needs to overcome ASAP.
Americans’ fear of big government – partly fueled by a sharp spike among Democrats since President Barack Obama took office – almost reached a record high this year and is far greater than people’s concerns about big business and big labor, a new Gallup poll Monday shows.An overwhelming 64 percent of people surveyed said big government was the biggest threat to the country, compared to just 26 percent who said big business is their gravest concern and 8 percent who picked big labor.
The all-time high for percentage of people who said big government was the biggest threat to the country was in 1999 and 2000, when 65 percent named it the country’s biggest menace.
Republicans are most wary of the threat of big government than are Democrats or independents – 82 percent of GOPers said big government was the biggest threat to the nation, compared to 64 percent of independents and 48 percent of Democrats who said the same.

You still think this asshole isn’t after your guns? Think again. Just look at the Fast & Furious debacle to get a clue. That operation’s sole purpose was to give the gun grabbing douche bags an excuse to go after the Second Amendment in earnest.
Obama administration officials are deliberately keeping gun owners in the dark about the president’s gun-control agenda as we head into next year’s national election, because administration officials know that when NRA members and gun owners show up at the polls en masse, anti-gun candidates lose.
The Obama campaign’s strategy goes like this:
1. Neutralize gun owners and NRA members as a political force in the upcoming national election by pretending to be pro-gun or at least not focused on pushing a gun-control agenda;
2. With gun owners neutralized, Obama will be able to win the election. After the president is re-elected, he won’t have to answer to voters because he won’t have to face another re-election battle;
3. Launch a full-scale, all-out assault to rip the Second Amendment out of the Bill of Rights through legislation, litigation, regulation, executive orders and international treaties — in short, every lever of power at the administration’s disposal.
Barack Obama spent his entire political career proudly and publicly pushing for the most radical anti-gun positions you can imagine. He endorsed a total ban on the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns. He opposed right-to-carry laws. He voted to ban nearly all commonly used hunting-rifle ammunition.

Hate speech is still speech, and it is protected by the Constitution. Only liberal retards do this shit. Harvard is a joke. Is it not central to this ivy league university and every institution in these United States to “protect free speech, including that of Dr Swamy and of those who disagree with him”? Where does Harvard address the truth of Swamy’s remarks, or the 80 million Hindus slaughtered in jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements? Harvard has removed Swamy’s course from their curriculum over an editorial he wrote concerning the jihad in India. I ran it at Atlas here on July 16, 2011.
I cannot believe this is America.
Freedom of speech protects all speech, not just the ideas that we like. That’s the point. Who decides what’s good and what’s forbidden? Harvard? The Islamic supremacists seeking to impose the sharia restriction on free speech?
Harvard has been bought and sold to the highest sharia bidder (in December 2005, Saudi Prince Al-Waleed donated $20 million each to Harvard University and Georgetown University to fund Islamic studies).
