The Atlantic Wire rounds up some right-side opinions on Newt Gingrich as a result of his stance on NY-23. The unfortunate part of it is, I agree with Newt as far as ceding to local control. But he didn’t go far enough in terms of making a case for more conservatives to start getting involved. And one can make that case without actually endorsing Scozzofava, which was Newt’s fatal mistake. What a tragic goof.

He’s comfortably ensconced as a party elder right now, and even if his power within the GOP isn’t as strong as he might like, he gets plenty of media attention.

I think he’s too stupid in foreign affairs and a pussy to boot. But that’s just my bias coming out. He’s smart. Book smart that is. He’s clueless when it comes to running  a country that is over half conservative in its views. Only 20% of America actually thinks like this guy. Since when is the minority allowed to dictate to the majority how the country should run? Since a bunch of morons decided that our first black president should be elected regardless of his ideology. Morons.

Americans concerned about the decline of American power under the presidency of Barack Obama should turn their radar on and keep it on. We should be aware that Obama intends to roll out for Senate approval a series of international treaties that will further bind America to the will of the international community if they are ratified.

Bit by bit, America’s autonomous power is being taken away. The Boston Globe provides a public relations gloss by calling these treaties a means of fulfilling “Obama’s vision of global cooperation.” This is one view, I suppose. Another view would be that our policies will be tied down by these treaties — and we will be judged by international bureaucrats and held to their interpretation of what our obligations are under the treaties.

America is being dismantled by Obama and the left. Pay attention people. Your very freedoms are at stake. Obama has nothing but contempt for this country, and it shows in the people he appointed his cabinet and the people that he now appointed to non-Constitutional positions within his administration.
The people he hung out with to the people he has running this government, are all leftist, anti-American assholes and we better keep our eyes open.
Vote in 2010 to remove the incumbent morons, and in 2012 to remove the biggest asshole of the bunch.

Just one year ago, would you have believed that an unelected government official, not even a Cabinet member confirmed by the Senate but simply one of the many “czars” appointed by the President, could arbitrarily cut the pay of executives in private businesses by 50 percent or 90 percent?

Did you think that another “czar” would be talking about restricting talk radio? That there would be plans afloat to subsidize newspapers– that is, to create a situation where some newspapers’ survival would depend on the government liking what they publish?
