The anti-gun lobby is after your guns. They want to disarm the law abiding citizen and let the criminals run rampant. Don’t think so? Look at Britain. Look at Australia. Look at Washington D.C. Look anywhere that there is a strict anti-gun law. Who suffers? It’s the regular everyday citizen that suffers. Anti-gun legislation doesn’t take guns out of the hands of the criminal element in society. In fact, in the United States, wherever there has been the murder of more than three people in a single incident; it was in a “gun free” zone.
A “gun free” zone is an engraved invitation to any moron that wants to take as many casualties as he possibly can, without the threat of someone putting a bullet in his head.
Here’s a column by Alan Korwin:
Gun law update: Brady Gun-Ban Strategy Outlined
(Prior report with Brady gun-ban lists: http://www.gunlaws.com/newstuff.htm)
The powerful gun-ban lobby has developed its own language to color and disguise its true agenda — the disarming of law-abiding Americans in every way possible, and the end of effective self defense.
Their latest set of plans — used as a fund raiser (outlined below) — is filled with nice sounding terms that put a deceptive spin on their goals. Respect for the Bill of Rights is nowhere to be found, only clever end runs and literal destruction of rights Americans have always had.
Starkly missing from these plans is any direct attack on criminals — the whole game plan is aimed at firearms the public holds. It is a product of abject gun fear — hoplophobia — that afflicts the people behind the plan. They deny they’re hoplophobic, but just look at their plans, directed solely at restricting and eliminating guns — instead of the crime caused by criminals they nominally complain about. I noticed that all mentions of accident prevention, a former holy grail for the group, are gone.

Some of you are probably saying WTF is a “hoplophobia”?
hoplophobia
noun
(often used derogatorily) The fear of guns.
Etymology: From Ancient Greek (polytonic, á) “arms, armor, weapon” + (polytonic, ) “fear, fright, terror”. Compare hoplite.
Nice use of the word, eh?
They’re trying this gun control bullshit from all angles as well. This shit isn’t going to stop crime. It will make it worse.
Write your Representatives and tell them NO!
Steve Merlo: More gun control not a viable answer to crime
They’re sneaking up on us again, and gun owners and hunters need to be forwarned of another plot to take away our Second Amendment rights.
“Ammunition Accountability,” a newly formed group of ammunition coding supporters, is working to pass legislation to make ammo-coding a reality. Using laser etching, the group wants to place an alpha-numeric serial number on the back of each bullet, round or cartridge manufactured in the U.S. The idea is that it will control criminals by identifying brass or empty shells left at a crime scene and then following up the number on the back to find out who purchased the offending bullet. Gee…it almost makes sense, doesn’t it? That’s exactly what they want you to think, but don’t fall for this newest attack on our heritage.
———-
1. Criminals will never use stamped bullets. There are hundreds of billions of unmarked cartridges floating around that are easily obtainable. Instead, a law like this will only spawn an “unstamped bullet” black market.
2. Laser-etching each bullet is expensive, adding about a half-cent to each round manufactured, i.e. $2.50 addtional for each box of already-expensive .22 rimfire or pistol ammunition. If buying bullets becomes too high for the average person to purchase, then gun control advocates have their population-disarming agenda within reach.
3. No one will be able to purchase unmarked ammo after June 30, assuming the new ammo will be available on July 1.
4. Government will know the exact amount and caliber one purchases after that date, a total invasion of privacy.
