Conservative Snobs Are Wrong About Palin

I know Maggie Thatcher. The two women have a lot in common.

Being listed in fourth place for Time magazine’s “Person of the Year,” as Sarah Palin was for 2008, sounds a little like being awarded the Order of Purity (Fourth Class). But it testifies to something important.

Though regularly pronounced sick, dying, dead, cremated and scattered at sea, Mrs. Palin is still amazingly around. She has survived more media assassination attempts than Fidel Castro has survived real ones (Cuban official figure: 638). In her case, one particular method of assassination is especially popular — namely, the desperate assertion that, in addition to her other handicaps, she is “no Margaret Thatcher.”

Very few express this view in a calm or considered manner. Some employ profanity. Most claim to be conservative admirers of Mrs. Thatcher. Others admit they had always disliked the former British prime minister until someone compared her to “Sarracuda” — at which point they suddenly realized Mrs. Thatcher must have been absolutely brilliant (at least by comparison).

Your rights. Your freedoms. Guard them with your life. Defend them with your blood.

In the wake of yet another stabbing and a bikie shooting, the Australian government has turned to a knee jerk reaction , as always, with more laws, a “crackdown” demonising the legal gun owners. The law abiding are, as always , wearing the idiocy of a government that cannot, will not or refuses to accept that criminals do not obey the law, and that any raft of buybacks, amnesties or other legal mumbo jumbo will result in nothing more than muted laughter and studied ignorance.

The law abiding take care of their weapons and lock them away and obey the raft of rules and regs and make sure than in the case of a home invasion or other crime, their firearm is safely locked away and disassembled, the ammunition stored elsewhere.

God help them if they ever think of using it to defend themselves…the law in this country ensures that any home owner or gun owner that uses said gun for self defence will find themselves in jail for thirty years for attempted murder or murder…that they were using necessary force to defend their homes is, of course, irrelevant.

The rights of the criminal must be respected, says the nanny state. If there is a crime..call the police….and of course, as we all know, the criminal will just sit there and wait for the police to arrive..IF they ever get there.

When seconds count,…the police are only minutes away.

Liberals need to fear her. Oh, wait. They already do. Conservatives need to embrace her. Not enough there I am afraid. That could change in time though.

Of course, this is the year of the Barack Obama phenomenon, but who is really responsible for his rise? His shining personally and “oratory” skills helped, but who was really behind that and other facets of our culture over the last few years?

Try looking towards our white, liberal elite and you’ll not only see their political influence but also the mediocrity they’ve molded into our society.

It really dawned on me after watching an episode of Penn & Teller’s “Bullshit” program on Environmental Hysteria, where there was a scene including rhythm-challenged, young white elites, “dancing” like Africans after eating a meal of gazelle meat gone bad.

Look at pop culture, complete with singers who can’t sing, writers who can’t come up with original ideas, reality show participants with few redeeming qualities, and behind the scenes you’ll see white liberal elites who claim to embrace diversity, and you’ll understand why we have a Barack Obama.

White liberal elites are America’s losers with money.

On the idiocy and bias of the MSM and the left:

Apparently, Caroline “Schlossberg” Kennedy has name recognition, worked for a couple hours a week for a non-profit and has absolutely no public office experience. She is being considered as the replacement for HRC in the Senate. The media and the left are swooning.

Sarah Pain on the other hand, oops, different letter following the name has City Council experience, was a Mayor, and is the Governor of the largest state in the union. And she apparently, at least according to the afore mentioned lunatics has no experience to be the Vice-President of these her United States.

Funny shit that.
She has more experience than Kennedy, Biden, and the Obamasiah combined.
