Iranian boats “provoke” U.S. Navy ships in Hormuz: CNN

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Five Iranian Revolutionary Guard boats harassed and provoked three U.S. Navy ships in the Strait of Hormuz, a major oil shipping route off the Iranian coast, over the weekend, CNN reported on Monday.

Citing unidentified U.S. officials, CNN said the Iranian vessels came within 200 yards (meters) of the U.S. ships in international waters in the strait on Saturday, and U.S. sailors came close to opening fire.

How stupid can the Iranians be?

Apparently, really stupid. Provoking the greatest Navy on the planet is just plain stupid. Stupid is as stupid does. They are lucky that they still have the five boats.

The idiots on the left are screaming Gulf of Tonkin. What a bunch of morons. And these people think that someone from their ilk can lead this nation? What a farce.

THERE IS NO LAW and MY WAGES ARE NOT INCOME (FOR NOTHING)!! Saturday, Jan 5 2008

Truth Attack

You have a RIGHT to know the TRUTH!

You have a NEED to know the TRUTH!

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS—KNOW YOUR DUTIES as they REALLY are, or you, your children and your grandchildren will continue to be victims of the largest scam in the history of mankind—the misrepresented and misapplied Federal Income Tax.

IF YOU CAN COUNT TO THREE, YOU CAN AGAIN BE FREE!

ONE:

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO LAW making the typical American working man or woman liable for the Federal Income Tax. More

TWO:

Your personal earnings (wages, salaries, fees, commissions and bonuses) ARE NOT 100% PROFIT, received in exchange for nothing, so ARE NOT 100% “INCOME”—THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO LAW that permits the IRS to classify your personal earnings as income, much less as being 100% income, profit—for nothing in return. More

THREE:

Just as you have a God-given FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT to free speech and to worship as you choose, the Supreme Court has held that you also have a GOD-GIVEN FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO EARN A LIVING FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY THROUGH ANY LAWFUL OCCUPATION (Did you know about that right? Most people don’t. Why?), and the Supreme Court has held that YOUR CONSTITUTION FORBIDS TAXATION OF YOUR EXERCISING YOUR FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS, and those include your freedom of speech, your freedom of religion AND YOUR RIGHT TO EARN A LIVING. THE POWER TO DESTROY
Lawyer who beat IRS sues agents
Seeks damages for alleged ‘smear and fear’ campaign

A lawyer who was acquitted by a federal court trial jury of Internal Revenue Service accusations he failed to filed income tax returns for two years now is suing several IRS agents over their alleged improper disclosure of his personal information in the case.

A spokeswoman in the office of lawyer Tom Cryer told WND the case was assembled and filed by Cryer between Christmas Day and the end of 2007 and is expected to be placed on the docket in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

Last summer in federal court a jury voted 12-0 to find Cryer, of Shreveport, not guilty of the IRS allegations. He had been indicted on 2006 on government claims he failed to pay $73,000 to the IRS in 2000 and 2001.

His successful defense was based on a challenge to the IRS to prove a constitutional foundation for the nation’s income tax.

Now that I think about it, the damn IRS is stealing from me. I want all my taxes returned to me post haste!

And to think I had to pay these assholes a penalty for not filing on time a few years back really pisses me off now!

Anti-Military Lawyer Damages Marine’s Car on Eve of Deployment

This “law”yer is lucky he didn’t get his head handed to him stuffed up his ass.

I think I would have tried to rub the scratch out of the car with his face. But that’s just me.

Washington’s Gift

BY THOMAS FLEMING
Tuesday, December 25, 2007 12:01 a.m. EST

There is a Christmas story at the birth of this country that very few Americans know. It involves a single act by George Washington–his refusal to take absolute power–that affirms our own deepest beliefs about self-government, and still has profound meaning in today’s world. To appreciate its significance, however, we must revisit a dark period at the end of America’s eight-year struggle for independence.

The story begins with Gen. Washington’s arrival in Annapolis, Md., on Dec. 19, 1783. The country was finally at peace–just a few weeks earlier the last British army on American soil had sailed out of New York harbor. But the previous eight months had been a time of terrible turmoil and anguish for Gen. Washington, outwardly always so composed. His army had been discharged and sent home, unpaid, by a bankrupt Congress–without a victory parade or even a statement of thanks for their years of sacrifices and sufferings.

Instead, not a few congressmen and their allies in the press had waged a vitriolic smear campaign against the soldiers–especially the officers, because they supposedly demanded too much money for back pay and pensions. Washington had done his utmost to persuade Congress to pay them, yet failed, in this failure losing the admiration of many of the younger officers. Some sneeringly called him “The Great Illustrissimo”–a mocking reference to his world-wide fame. When he said farewell to his officers at Fraunces Tavern in New York early in December, he had wept at the sight of anger and resentment on many faces.
