D-Day Wednesday, Jun 6 2007

Today in 1944 was D-Day.

On June 6, 1944, a date known ever since as D-Day, a mighty armada crossed a narrow strip of sea from England to Normandy, France, and cracked the Nazi grip on western Europe. On this day the allies assaulted the beaches of Normandy at Omaha, Utah, Gold, Sword and Juno.

The men were a part of the greatest generation. Because of these men, and those like them, we are a great nation.

Light Postings Wednesday, Jun 6 2007

Been busy with my last two classes towards my BS in Business Management.

I have eight weeks to go and I am done! Woohoo!

To that end, my posts will be light until I am done. I will have plenty of writing to do in these two classes. Figures, the last two are heavy writing courses.
