I have renounced my status as a Republican Thursday, May 17 2007

I am no longer a card carrying member of the Republican Party. I have officially rejected the GOP for their lack of conservatism.

They no longer hold the values that I feel are what made them the GOP. They no longer stand for the moral values of America, they reject the majority’s wishes and flaunt their own liberal agenda.

I am now party-less.

I am a staunch conservative. I believe in less government, the right to keep and bear arms, abortion is murder, illegal is illegal. I believe in responsibility for one’s own actions. If you step on your wiener, own up to it. Don’t lie to me about things you think I want to hear, and then turn around and do the opposite.

I think Arnold Schwartenegger is not a conservative, but a liberal shill that is being controlled by his leftist wife and inlaws. He is worthless as a Republican.

I supported President Bush in both elections. I am not pleased with his performance on domestic issues, or with the war in Iraq. He should have fired Rumsfeld in 2004.  He should have put more troops in Iraq from the outset and shut that country down until it was able to fend for itself.

As for the war on terror; I think that any time that a terrorist makes a threat, or carries out an act of terrorism, his family should be immediately targeted for elimination. Is that extreme, maybe, but I am willing to bet that after doing this on a few occasions, the terrorist threat will cease. They carry out an attack and we carry out an attack against them. Terror begets terror, as it were. Peace begets peace.

US Senate Selling Out America Thursday, May 17 2007

I stole this from Right Wing News.

I re-worded it in the form that I sent to Senator Mitch McConnell.

Any senator who votes for this bill, in my view, does not deserve the support of conservatives and I will not contribute money to his campaign, nor am I going to contribute to any Republican until they wake up and enact laws commiserate with the wishes of the American people. Moreover, although I don’t believe in protest votes, if I were going to refuse to pull the lever for a Republican over a single vote, it would be over this monstrosity.

Don’t tell me that it’s not an amnesty bill. You’re lying.

Don’t tell me that it doesn’t reward people for breaking our laws. You’re lying.

Don’t tell me that we’re better off signing a bad bill now, than getting nothing. You’re lying.

Don’t tell me that the American people want this bill. You’re lying.

Don’t tell me about the great new security measures that will be brought about because of this bill. What you won’t tell me is that behind the scenes, there will be senators working to thwart every one of those security provisions and because of that, they won’t work. Look at the border fence that was signed into law during the 2006 elections. It’s the law, money is appropriated for it, and so far they’ve built two miles of fencing. Again, you’re lying.

You are not acting in the best interest of the United States of America, nor its citizens.

If you Senator were a real leader in the Senate, you’d be organizing a filibuster of this bill, not going along with it. If this is the best you can do, you should resign and let a real leader take over.

I am absolutely appalled at the very idea that the United States Senate is selling out America. Not only do they not support our troops abroad, but they support the illegal aliens.

These people are not just harmless crop workers trying to feed their families. That is bullshit. Many of them are hardened criminals.

I am tired of subsidizing Mexico, Guatamala, El Salavador, and the rest of the world. Enough is enough. Get them out of my country and keep them out of my country.
